Internet Explorer: - Open the browser and at the top right corner, there is a gear icon. Click on this icon to get a list down different options>> select "Manage Add-ons" option. Now search for "Clean Browser BHO" option. Enter on "clean browser BHO" >>click "Remove"; it will clear your browser cache. Adware-extension can also be deleted by using this option.
If this option doesn't work for you, there is an alternative option to empty browser cache.
For Windows XP: Click Start >>Run >Type inetcpl.cpl command in the opened window > click advanced tab> click Reset button.
For Windows Vista AND Windows 7- Click ON Windows logo>> type inetcpl.cplIN THE START search box >> enter>> a new window will be opened here, now click Advanced tab> click Reset.

First, go to the Control Panel in your start menu, then click on Add/Remove Programs, find Facemoods and click Remove.
If you use Firefox you also need to remove the Facemoods Add-on, go to Tools/Add-ons in the Firefox toolbar menu and click to uninstall.
If you use Chrome, please click on the Wrench icon on top right, go to extensions and click to uninstall.

I also had same problem ,re installation of chrome didn't help much.Then i found out the issue. Its with the settings. Just make Internet explorer as your default web browser. Its a fact that explorer sucks!! But as long as you are using a windows product you have to comply with them.I think Google will take it seriously. Yes you have to manually trigger it always.I'm not a tech-guy.I'm just sharing something that worked for me.If somebody have a better idea to bye-pass this issue.Just share with me also
