What GPA do you need to get into the University of Florida?

The University of Florida requires a cumulative C average on all high school and college academic core courses. The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 from every school attended for students looking to take dual enrollment courses.

How do you raise your GPA in the 11th grade when you have a 2.98.?

If there are any AP classes available to you that you think you can do well in, take them and dedicate your time. If you get a chance to take a couple of them, try to buffer the difficulty with easy classes. Check with your counselor for tutors as needed (and even if not needed because they help you stay on track anyway). State schools may be an option that you can consider with the intent of transfering to a university if you so desire. Many community colleges have great transfer programs as well.

Will a GPA of 3.6 get you into uf?

What is a 3.0 GPA?

Your GPA is your "grade point average" aka, all of your grades averaged together. On a regular schedule (one without advanced placement classes and without serious extra credit) a 4.0 is the highest. a 3.3 is still good.

What is a 97 average equal to in a GPA?

It depends on your professor's standards, an "A" can vary between 90-100 and a weighted class is worth more. Your 97 is probably an A and if the class is weighted then that translates to a 5.00, if it is unweighted then it is counted as a 4.00.

Is the ten year rule still in effect for those who do not meet the GPA requirements yet still desire to join Delta Sigma Theta?

I wanted to add additional information. I graduated from a prestigious university approximately 6 years ago. In undergrad, I met the GPA requirement (when it was a 2.5) and other pre-requisites to be considered for membership in such an illustrious organization. However, I knew that I could not give 100% to the undergraduate chapter due to work, community service and school (although I did attend every single program sponsored by the Deltas on my campus and contributed financially and talent-wise to their events); thus abstained from seeking membership at that time. After undergrad, I relocated to another location where the local alumnae chapter had a line within 2 months of my relocation. Seeing as though I had not resided nor had the ability to do community service in that for a lengthy period of time; I attended Rush to learn more about the requirements of an alumnae chapter however, I did not submit my application for membership. Since then, I have received a law degree (working two jobs to put myself through school) and I'm licensed to practice in two states and in the Caribbean. While I have certainly accomplished a great deal professionally speaking, my GPA in law school and undergraduate would not meet the requirements for membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I do recall that in the past one would have to wait ten years to pursue membership if you did not meet the requirements. I wanted to know if this is still true or if the policy has been modified/abandoned as a result of the new membership requirement. I've wanted to become a member of Delta Sigma Theta for as long as I could remember and would be honored to join the ranks of such distinguished members; however, I don't want to chase "ghosts"-meaning I don't want to continue to desire to join if there is no way I can do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

What GPA is considered to be an A average?

It's not that simple. You have to know how many credits in each course and the quality points to each grade. You add the total number of quality points assigned to each grade and divide it by the number of credits completed.
