No but I honestly would not recommend this crossing of breeds as the heavier dog the Dane is crossed with the more pressure it puts on the heart, Danes have very small hearts compared to their size in pure breed Danes..... plus the lower eye lid will sag and cause problems in the dogs eyes. If you want a large dog go for an Neapolitan Mastiff

Where ever he wants to in our house! They are a very loving breed and thrive on human company. Midge (my Dane) is my shadow - where ever I go he goes without exception. Love him to bits, he is 10 this July.......

Remember, he eats a lot and expects a lot of your attention. If you cannot spend time with him or you cannot spend on quality diet for your dog, then stay away from great danes. Not a good choice for some, but for those willing to give them the attention they need they are exellent pets.
