How does the Brinkmann Gas Grill compare with the Weber Gas Grill?
It all depends on the type of grill. You need to be just a little more specific. Maybe choose an actual model number or a price range and then you can compare what you can get with in that range.
You have different materials that make up each grill, different options, etc. But overall, Weber has been the leader in grills and have amazing grill selections. I have owned both a Brinkmann and a Weber and the Weber outperformed and out lasted the Brinkmann.
With that said it really all comes down to price and how well you take care of it and how often you use it. I personally have a Weber Summit S-670 (check it out at http://webersummit.com) which is a serious grill, but then again I grill A LOT!
But it has all the options, the food comes out perfect every time and even though it was a little expensive it has outperformed any grill I have ever owned and cooks better than every grill I ever owned. So it was worth it to me to invest a little more money.
Now I'm not saying you have to spend a million dollars on a grill, but it all comes down to your needs, wants, and affordability. Hope this helps.
Can you Grill a 12 pound turkey on a propane grill?

How to smoke a ham on a propane grill?
Here is how i smoke a ham on a propane grill. First, turn on one burner making sure that it is not one in the middle, but on one side or the other. place the ham on the side that does not have the heat. Soak your wood chips (fruit tree wood works best for me) for one hour in cool water. Place the wood chips in a sheet of foil then wrapping it up into a pouch. Poke holes into bothsides (with a fork) of the foil so the heat and smoke can escape. Place the foil pouch on top of the flame allowing the wet chips to smolder. Please do not lift the lid to the grill until you stop seeing smoke coming from the grill, so you do not let smoke and heat out. Cook until ham reaches 190 degrees in the center.

What kind of underground pipe do you use for natural gas grill?
My preferred material is yellow plastic pipe (actually polyethylene) but it is not available in most big box stores and the metal risers required are pricey and need a specialized tool to make the connection to the poly. Supply houses typically only sell in minimum of 250 foot rolls. More common for short runs is the green coated "black iron" (actually steel) pipe that is available at big box stores. You will need a primer and special tape to wrap each joint that is underground (also available at the box stores). The threaded portion is the most vulnerable to corrosion as the pipe is thinner at that point and moisture tends to accumulate in the thread. Local codes vary but 18" depth is common for piping inside a yard and not in a right-of-way. Remember to dig with caution - there are other lines underground. Safest thing to do is hire a plumber. Working with gas piping is not for amateurs.
