Blocked by ice every time, except his last journey, which was on the Half Moon and his crew almost died in the Hudson Bay because of ice again. His crew mutinied against him, and sent him his son and other loyal crew members on a boat to die.

It wasn't really a crime he just sailed under the dutch flag and the English got mad for sailing for another country

Yes.The Hudson River is named after Henry Hudson.

Henry Hudson brought his son, John, on every one of his four voyages he went on. He ended up dying with his son in 1611 when they were trpped on a boat with 7 other crewman and they were stuck at sea hungry and dirty. They soon died after that.

Henry Hudson discovered the Hudson river, (Originally nammed the Mauritius River after Prince Maurice of Nassau) in 1609 while he was hired by the English Muscovy Company to take a ship (the Hopewell) to find a Northeastern sea passage to the Spice Islands of the South Pacific.

Henry Hudson sailed to North America in search of the Northwest passage. However, he did not find it. He got lost in what we now know as Hudsons bay. It is one of the largest bays in the world located north of ontario and lends its name to the famous trading company, the Hudson's Bay Company. This voyage ultimately ended poorly for Hudson as his crew staged a mutiny and marooned him in a little boat. He died within the bay.
