- Be Mindful - pay attention to yourself and everything around you so that you know how you are behaving and thinking and when you can change to improve yourself - keep your mind in the "here and now" instead of thinking ahead to what might happen
- Be "Careful" - Care about others and how they will react to your actions and speech
- Be Thoughtful - Think about what you are doing and saying so you can improve yourself
- Be Forgiving - remember it's going to take time to improve, so don't get upset with yourself if you mess up now and then - you'll soon get into your new habits and be a better person!
As to motivating others, just let them know you're trying to improve and show them how much better your life is by doing this, and they'll want to try it too!
