Personal comments:
- I currently take 30mg of Vicodin per day and 20mg of Valium; however, you should not drive on this level of medications. Also, you should not take them together at the same time.
- I usually take 30 mg Vicodin in the morning to alleviate my pain and will take 20mg Valium about 8-10 hours later. I have a high tolerance to both meds.
- Neither medicine should be taken just to get high. Medicines are almost always associated with side effects and often they are serious side effects and some may cause death, especially when they are mixed with other medicines.
- Always ask a doctor before mixing these medications and see how they affect you before doing even ordinary tasks until you know how these meds will affect you.
- Always take medications under the supervision of a doctor.
Which is stronger vicoden or percosets?
these are in two different drug classes, so one cannot really make an answer to that. vicodin is an opiate painkiller, while carisoprodol is a skeletal muscle relaxant. so i guess in terms of "strength" of addiction properties, vicodin is stronger (and may have more of an euphoric effect)

Totally depends on the dosage involved, the tolerance and size of the person involved. Each person is different - someone not tolerant to opiates would succumb to respiratory arrest fairly quickly if they took too much, while someone like me who has used it for many years actually only gets increased side effects.
One possible outcome would be that the person could OD and not die at all, just wind up with brain damage. There are things worse than death.

If you are taking it and are required to take a drug test, Just show the person doing the test that you have a valid RX for it and it will be noted in the file and the results will not be held against you. I have taken it for 7 years and all I have to do is show them the RX bottle with my name and Dr and that is noted (broken vertibrae that cannot be repaired) and is dismissed when the test pops positive for hydrocodone or codine.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and have tried both. The yellow is stronger (to me) than the white. Yellow 10-325 I need only 2 daily to 4 daily for the white. My pharmacy alternates between the 2. I am not going to refill the whites unless I can't find the yellows. This will probably require some legwork but it'll be worth it.

Vicodin is a combination of hydocodone and acetaminophen/paracetamol(APAP).
Vicodin is available in:
5mg hydrocodone / 500mg APAP
7.5mg hydrocodone / 750mg APAP
10mg hydrocodone / 660mg APAP
Therefore, if you take one 10mg pill containing 660mg APAP instead of taking two 5mg pills each containing 500mg APAP for a combined total of 1000mg APAP, you will, in essence, be receiving less of a drug that reduces inflamation and assists in relieving pain.
In addition, ingesting too much APAP will cause great stress to your liver, so when managing severe pain you may want to monitor that.
Moreover, taking one 5mg pill at one time then another 5mg pill at a later time will NOT heed the same results as taking two 5mg pills at the same time. (half lives, metabolic absorbtion, etc.)

It is generally a good idea to avoid taking any other central nervous system (CNS) depressants while on any other central nervous system depressants (such as hydrocodone).

- benzodiazepines (xanax, valium, klonopin, ativan, etc)
- barbituates (phenobarbital, etc)

Lortab is similar to vicodin. That means it has hydrocodone (an opiate like morphine) and acetominophin (tylenol). It can be shot up but it is difficult and sometimes dangerous. The only safe way to shoot up lortab (but it is still difficult and dangerous because hydrocodone is not meant for that, iv drugs can kill you much easier, more addicitve) is too dissolve them in water, then get the water cold (near freezing but not frozen) by putting it in a freezer for a while, then filter the water to get out all the undissolved fillers and acetominophin, then boil the water down to a volume that will fit in a syringe. Still this should only be injected in a vein because the particles left in it can hurt you (unless you use micron filter) (but doing this in vein is still very very dangerous!!!!). The water and everything the water touches it should be as clean and sterile as possible. Use only clean needles from a needle exchange or pharmacy. DONT DO THIS. JUST TAKE IT ORALLY! If you really wan't to shoot up, you wan't pills that are very small and don't have other ingredients. Also never try to inject codeine. Most commonly people use morphine pills or oxycodone pills that are concentrated (like 20, 40 or more milligrams in the pill, not 5 or 10). Find someone who knows what they're doing and will show you how. People at your needle exchange can help you be safe.

Yes, when I was hired in at my job a few years ago, the drug test results paper had Oxycodone (Percocet) and Oxycontin listed as 2 separate things. I also was drug tested when I was being put on Suboxone to quit doing painkillers, and they were listed as 2 separate things. Drug tests are able to distinguish between the two.

Do you mean Tylenol? Hydrocodone is only made with tylenol so, it is not a good idea to take MORE tylenol when you take Hydrocodone. Too much Tylenol can cause liver toxicity and that's not good.
