What will vicodin show up as in a urine drug test?
They both show up in the opiate category on a standard drug test, and can be tested for seperately i believe, but for a standard drug test they stay in your system about 3 days max. and will make you test positive for opiates if detected.
Snorting hydrocodone is actually illegal. In addition, it can do damage by burning your sinus membranes and killing tissue, interfere with breathing, and cause seizures. Hydrocodone is a scheduled narcotic that can only be obtained through a prescription. Taking it in any way other than prescribed is illegal, even with the prescription. Crushing and snorting tends to be a method only used by addicts as a means of abusing the medication. If you are having pains that are not being controlled by the prescribed means, you need to speak to your doctor about trying a different medication.
If you took 1 lortab 2 days ago would it show up in a urine test?
It may still be in your system. With the ever growing field of pharmacogenomics, we are discovering that even healthy individuals, with normal liver metabolism and renal function, may clear drugs a little slower or a little faster than normal. It may take me eight hours to clear 20mg of Hydrocodone and it make take you two weeks. If it is a drug test you are worried about, you would be better off to try to avoid it as far in advance as you can. I guess it depends on what is at stake.
Is Norco stronger than Ultram?
I have recently started taking Nucynta for breakthrough pain. I also take 40 mg of Oxy twice a day and took Ultram for a long time. (years) I love the Nucynta and to answer your question, in my case.............the Nucynta is a LOT more powerful and effective than the Ultram/Ultracet. It starts working very quickly (I take it every 6 hours as needed).
In my opinion, the Nucynta is more effective than the percs and vics I was taking for breakthrough pain also.
I think you will be very satisfied.

Is hydrocodone in Fentanyl patches?
It's extremely common for Duragesic patients to have Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, or other acute opiate meds (Demerol, Methadone, etc.) as their breakthrough medication. Remember that patches are for primary, chronic pain; increased activity can cause the pain to increase past the point of patch effectiveness, which is termed "breakthrough pain". In those cases, an acute (short term) pain med like Vicodin or Percocet is used to deal with the short term increase.
I myself have used Percocet 10/325's for about 10 years in conjunction with my patches, about 120/month. At some point though, if breakthrough becomes constant, then it's time to re-evaluate the need for a higher dose patch or patch combination. I've had to deal with this several times over the years, and I prefer to use pills because it gives you more spot control of the pain. But for severe increases (see my bio for more), adding another patch is really the only way to go.
What is oxycodone generic for?
Oxycodone is the generic name for OxyContin, although OxyContin is actually a time released version of Oxycodone. This means that instead of the drug being released into your bloodstream from your stomach all at once, it slowly releases it over a period of several hours.
How long does hydroco stay in the body?
It depends on how much and how long you have taken it. If you just take a couple for fun you should be clean in a few days, with urine test. If your addicted, and they do a hair analysis test it can take a month, or more.
In a urine screen can they tell which opiate you took?
The most commonly used urine drug test in the United States (SAMHSA-5) does not specifically indicate which opiate was taken. It tests for Amphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana, PCP, and Opiates. In the case of opiates, it detects the presence of inactive opiate metabolites (morphinans, codeinones, etc.) So therefore it is impossible for the drug test to distinguish between the specific types of opioids (hydrocodone, oxycodone, codeine, morphine, and heroin will all be returned as a positive for opiate section.) There are methods such as Gas Chromatography urinalysis to detect the presence of more specific opiates. It can distinguish between heroin and oxycodone, so therefore there are certain drug testing methods that can tell if an individual is using illegal opiates and prescribed opiates.
Generally, the opiates will leave the body in 3 days or less, making them impossible to detect.
The bottom line is, if you are peeing into a cup, you live in the United States, and it has five sections which I mentioned above, then it can detect any conventional (non-synthetic) opiate.

What happens if you snort norco?
Yes. I wouldn't snort a whole pill though. You can snort a Norco and it will give a pretty quick reaction, only I recommend crushing up about half of one and chewing the rest or swallowing it, mixing it with a drink. People who say it doesn't work at all because of the binders are failing to realize it all ends up going down the back of your throat and ultimately in your body in the end, especially if you wash it down real quick. People always complain about the flavor and a bit of a stinging in the nose, but it's not like people drink whiskey cuz it tastes good. Just avoid the inside of your nose, aim straight through the sinuses.

Ummmm, you ARE doing Tylenol - 325 mg. to be exact. Norco contains no aspirin.
Does morphine sulfate have hydrocodone in it?
neither. morphine is morphine, oxycodone is oxycodone, and hydrocodone is hydrocodone.
Hydrocodone is a codiene based opiate, as is morphine (heroin is converted to morphine once it crosses the blood brain barrier). Oxycodone is a semi synthetic. The other two are naturally occurring opiates. Any of them are fine to detox, as long as you correctly taper and not hoard them all at once. Methadone and suboxone are detox drugs of choice.
Does Darvocet contain codeine or hydrocodone?
No, Darvocet* is a brand name* * for a propoxyphene compounded drug. It is a controlled substance, available legally only by prescription.
A lot of physicians just wont presecribe it at all because it is highly adictive. And many say that it just does not do the job, and that better products with fewer possible consequences are available. (Still it is a steady producer for Eli Lilly; all physicians are not in agreement.)
Propoxyphene is related to codeine and hydrocodone, but it is not the same.
*Darvocet is a product belonging to Eli Lilly and Company. It contains other substances than just propoxyphene; it comes in various doses, sizes and shapes. See the link discussing Darvocet and associates.
** Darvocet and several combinations are brand names of Eli Lilly. Propoxyphene is a generic drug; however, Darvocet is a particular product, with a particular shape, combination and packaging. Darvocet and its variations belongs to Eli Lilly and Company.

When you say "UTI pain reliever" do you mean something like Pyridium or AZO Standard? If so, then yes, you can take vicodin with those medicines. If you mean something else, then you do not want to take two pain medications together. Pyridium and AZO are phazopyridine, which is a urinary agent and not a true pain reliever. They only act on the urinary system.
