How many lorcet can you take in a day?

Depends on your tolerance. But be careful for the Tylenol in it, which can cause a very long, very slow, very painful death over the course of a few weeks. I take percoset regularly and I have a high tolerance. More then 3, 5/325mg tablets makes me nauseous. You should take no more then 2 every 4 hours and never exceed more then 12 every 24 hours.

How many milligrams of acetaminophen does it take to overdose?

Getting sick from acetaminophen overdose is mostly caused by liver damage; not a good way to go.

The more of this drug is taken beyond the recommended dose, the higher your chances are of dying a horrible death that can take days or make you live out the rest of your life on a list for a liver transplant.

Up to 24 hours after taking an overdose, you may feel fine and may have even had time to forget you did this because you will go on as if nothing has happened. If you get your stomach pumped up to 2 hours after taking an overdose, you will spare yourself the torture. If not, the medicine will be absorbed by your liver. Then you will feel extremely sick to your stomach. Symptoms include:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Not feeling well
  • Not able to eat or poor appetite
  • Abdominal pain

Then these symptoms will go away for a little while. That phase can last 24-48 hours. If you are lucky, your body will heal itself. If not, you may have permanently harmed your liver or you will quickly die within the next week as the symptoms get worse.

Can you take hydrocodone and etodolac together?

yes you can.. I get 180 of endocet & 180 of lortab a month plus other meds.

you just have to be really careful about tylenol amount you are taking! 4,000mg of tylenol can kill a person...

Can you mix carisoprodol and Vicodin?

Yes, but mixing the two greatly increases sedation. It's a popular "cocktail" among recreational drug users. Stay well within the recommended doses (Soma: Maximum 1 tab every 8 hours, Vicodin: 1-2 every 6 hours) as needed or as directed. DO NOT drink any alcohol within 12 hours of either dose. And avoid additional tylenol/acetaminophen.

What is the origin of Vicodin?

Hydrocodone (Vicodin) was first synthesized by scientists the German pharmacetical company Knoll in the year 1920.

How many norco to get you high?

Yes it will! Norco is hydrocodone with 325mg of tylonal instead of the usual 500mg; I was taking Norco 7.5/325 for about 5yrs, drs perscribe norco to patients who have been on quantities of tylonal for long periods of time to reduce the adverse effects of the tylonal on the kidneys and liver.

Can you have a glass of wine with hydrocodone?

Hydrocodone contains APAP or Acetaminophen or Paracetamol AKA Tylenol. Alcohol and this can damage the liver, If your using medicinal doses than some drinks will be just fine, however if your using it recreationally I'd say to limit your wine intake.

Just drink a couple glasses like usual and you should be fine.

Will urine test show difference between 7.5mg and 10mg vicodin?

40% of all pain medications taken by mouth are not absorbed into the blood stream, they are released into urine, then passed. So, if you were taking huge amounts of the medication, 40% of the huge amount in actually in your urine.

Can you use methadone to treat Vicodin withdrawals?

Yes, you can. But it is absolutley pointless because methadone is an opiod blocker. It clogs your opiod receptors and blacks other opiates from having any effects. I would not recommend taking any other opiates with methadone, but there isn't really any problem with them mixing as long as you are taking them both as prescribed.
Methadone is an OPIATE BLOCKER, therefore if you do take them together you will be defeating the purpose of the VICODIN because as I'm sure you know VICODIN is an OPIATE and you will have no effects from the VICODIN. Therefore, what I'm trying to say is you are actually wasting the VICODIN and adding more DISTRESS to your LIVER AND KIDNEYS. So take one or the other, not both.

You can mix vicodin and methadone, but if you are lookin to get a high off of the vicodin you won't....methadone blocks out the receptors that make you have that "high" feeling when you take pain killers. most people end up ODing when trying to take pain killers with methadone because they wonder why they aren't getting high and keep taking more and more pain killers not realizing that they wont get that high feeling.

Is taking 8 hydrocodone apap 10-500 in a day too much?

That depends, If your doctor perscribed it then he or she had a reason and then it is ok. There is nothiing wrong with the 80 mg of narcotic you would be taking, however, the 500 presents a serious problem. The 500 stands for the amount of acetaminophen (Tylenol) in the pill. 4,000mg (the amount in 8 pills) is the MAXIMUM for any 24 hour period. Overdoses of Tylenol cause a painful death within a week or two unless you can find a liver transplant. 4,000 is on the line, but the FDA is asking to have the maximum dose lowered because on occasion people have reported acute liver failure with only 4,000mg. If you drink regularly it is WAY WAY to much alcohol. You could also ask your doctor for a stronger prescription (15-350) to lessen the risk. I don't have your chart in front of you but your doctor could talk to you more about your specific case. Do not take that many if you are a recreational user, the acetaminophen od risk is to high.

Can you take one hydrocodone pill 6 hours after taking a Darvocet?

Hydrocodone is what is called a pure mu receptor agonist. This refers to certain morphine receptors in the brain. Darvocet is a partiaial agonist/antagonist, which means it can compete against many common narcotic analgesics. It is not advisable to combine the two as the darvocet can cause withdrawal symptoms inthose individuals habituated to pure mu agonists. In addition, darvocet has harmful metabolites that can cause serious side effects including siezures, with repeated administration. In my opinion, darvocet, darvon, and Demerol, are only suitable for pain relief for the short term. Their toxicity is such that the FDA is currently considering their removal from the market.

Hydrocodone with apap elixir 5-500?

Hydrocodone-APAP elixir is a liquid pain medicine that has two components: the hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever and the APAP part is acetaminophen (Tylenol.) The same combination in pill forms are known as Lortab or Vicodin but are most commonly dispensed as generic formulations.

What is more effective oxycodone hydrocholoride or oxycodone hydrocholoride with acetametaphin?

Oxycodone Acetaminophen IS Oxycodone-Hydrochloride, but combined with Acetaminophen. (Tylenol) The only difference is that the Oxycodone-Hcl is pressed into a tablet with Acetaminophen. They are NOT chemically combined, but only "mixed" together.

Oxycodone-Hydrochloride, or Oxycodone-Hcl, is an slightly acidic salt form of the opiate painkiller oxycodone. Oxycodone-Hcl is the form that almost every oxycodone tablet is found in. It is a crystalline salt form of the drug, and is used for oral (by mouth) administration.

Acetaminophen is a non-narcotic analgesic pain killer, which is found in many different over-the-counter (OTC) medications like Tylenol. Acetaminophen is often combined with low-strength narcotic opiate/opioid painkillers such as Lortab, Percocet, Endocet, ect. It is usually added to these medications to add to the pain relieving effects, and to discourage recreational drug abuse. In high doses, acetaminophen is highly toxic to the liver and can cause liver damage or failure.

Due to this, taking large doses of such combination medications is VERY dangerous and potentially fatal. If one insists upon abusing such drugs, there are methods to separate the acetaminophen from the oxycodone-hcl, but I will not discuss this because I do NOT condone drug abuse. On most prescription bottles for these combination medications (oxycodone-hcl with acetaminophen), you will see the letters APAP. This indicates the presence of acetaminophen in the medication. Acetaminophen is also commonly referred to as Paracetemol.

Can you mix LSD with hydrocodone?

One must always do their own research before messing around, especially when it comes to drug combinations. However, my personal understanding through my own research and experiences is that yes you can mix hydrocodone and LSD, whether it is a good idea depends on a variety of factors. If you are physically dependent on hydrocodone and need to take it just to feel well then it probably wouldn't have much of any impact on an LSD experience. If you have no hydrocodone tolerance and are totally "opioid naive" than it may be dangerous, LSD is so unpredictable in it's effects on the mind that there is always a risk you could overdo it and take too much hydrocodone, which is the only danger in the mix, as it can cause you to stop breathing and die (respiratory arrest), especially if alcohol is used in the mix, which many people use with LSD. If used with prudence by an experienced individual however, it may take away some of the potential LSD associated anxiety and add a different dimension or glow to the experience, depending on when the hydrocodone dose is administered (early on, at the end, or all throughout?).....The hydrocodone also may diminish some of LSD's effects as well....

Will hydroxyzine show up as an opiate on drug screen for probation?

yes loratab and percocet are opates unless you have a 10 pannel drug test they will check for barbituates witch is "pills" if its a simple 5 panel test they probley will just check for opiates witch loratab comes back as.

What are the benefits of oxycodone rather than hydrocodone?

The only difference is the potency of the drug - Oxycodone is a stronger opiate than Hydrocodone is. For a pain patient, the decision to move to a stronger drug is usually based on the lower strength drug not being able to do the job in current doses, or if the patient has to take more to deal with the pain. Fewer doses of a drug to deal with a problem is always more preferable to having increase the dose of one that isn't working as well.

Does tramadol show up on drug screen?

I recently had a SAP-9 drug test performed for work and it DID NOT test positive for opiods/opiates or provide ANYTYPE of false positive. I took them up to the date of the test, close to 12-15/day (tramadol 50mg). Hope this helps someone, because I was worrying as well!

A little more info...Note that Tramadol is an atypical opioid. This means the test for it may be, by the tester's standards, ineffective, and that this may not remain this way.

I JUST passed the 5 panel drug test while taking Tramadol. I was very nervous. My doctor had given me a script to help me wean off Vicodin. Well, I ran out so I ordered a bottle from the internet. I was taking about 6 daily when I passed the test just yesterday.

******I did some research and I know that if you take a Healthcare Professionals Drug Screen, they DO test for Tramadol. It is fast becoming one of the most addictive drugs on the market because it's NOT a controlled substance. But, the 5 panel does not test for Tramadol to date. However, Tramadol is under review by the FDA and may soon become a controlled substance. And once it is considered a controlled substance, they will test for it!!!

PLEASE be careful with this drug. One night, I had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. A friend of mine had TWO seizures within a month while taking this medication. After having my seizure and knowing that my friend had two, I STILL kept taking it in large doses. I don't want to lecture anyone but please know this is HIGHLY addictive. I'm in the process of weaning my body and I'm down to 3 per day. By Monday, I should be off these things for good. I will never mess with this stuff again!!

But, my 5 panel test (OPI, COC, THC, PCP, METH/AM.) tested for the below drugs.

• Amphetamines (including Methamphetamine, "Crystal Meth")

• Cannabinoids (THC, Marijuana)

• Cocaine

• Opiates (Codeine, Morphine, Heroin)

• Phencyclidine (PCP)

In most cases, the 5 panel test doesn't test for Oxycodone, Vidcodin. But, more and more places are including Oxy, Vic, etc. in the 5 panel tests because abuses of controlled substances are on the rise. The 7, 9, 10, and 12 panel drug screens do test for Oxycodone, Vidcodin, Loratab, Lorcet, etc. There is a specific test for Tramadol which they use if you are in the Healthcare industry. Which test they perform really depends on the job you are applying for and which screening facility you get tested at. Do your research online. Most facilities outline the screening process.

Please know that I'm not encouraging anyone to fraudulently pass a drug test nor am I judging anyone. Opiate addiction is tough to break. I know; I have been fighting it for years off and on. The best thing you can do is get help. I just want you to have the same information I had so you can make the best decision for yourself. As a struggling addict, I'm begging everyone to stay AWAY from Tramadol!! It is dangerous. Trust me.
