Please hear me out as a recovering pain killer addict and current suboxone patient... I am going to go out on a short limb here and say that I am almost certain you are in some sort of recovery program yourself if you are taking suboxone and if not you are probably an addict who needs one. The answer to your question is most certainly no. Especially if you are in recovery and properly taking suboxone for that reason under the supervison of a doctor. God knows it sucks to go through wthdraw even for a few hours much less a couple of days but I promise you if you can get through till Monday without relapsing it will be better for you phsyically and psychologically. If suboxone is all you are currently taking then your withdrawl will be very mild compared to the withdrawl of Oxycontin or lortab. It is no were as bad as you remember and if you stay strong I promise you can make it till Monday. Another problem I wish to address is why you ran out of your suboxone early... since I do not know the cercustances I will not speculate on that but if you happen to run out because you may not be taking it correctly well be very careful with that too my friend, because that can cause lots of problems ranging from getting kicked off your suboxone doctor to gettng into the habit of just using suboxone as a filler for when you run out of the narcotics you really want. Can your Dr convert Hydromorphone to Norco if so what is the Norco dosage?
There is a minor discrepancy in the online calculators - half i checked say 10mg of norco is the equivilant to 2mg of hydromorphone - others say 20mg of norco is equal to 6mg of hydromorphone - my best medical educated guess as a medical professional is that the actual calculation falls in the middle & they are estimating the difference. I don't know if it was from my prolonged Hydrocodone use or not but... recently I had a problem swallowing and was unable to take my medication for over 24 hours. I have been on Hydrocodone for years now and when I was unable to take it, I did go through a little bit of withdrawl. I noticed, the next day, that I seemed to be HIGHLY sensitive to smells. My wife's body spray, the dust in my car, my daughter's breath, the E.R. (since I ended up there due to not being able to swallow) and then, eventually, the food I was able to eat, were all EXTREMELY strong smelling to me. Hydrocodone works by numbing nerve impulses so I'm just assuming that after my using it for so long that it had something to do with my sense of smell and how strong things smelled to me.

I do not believe that two Tylenol 3s equals one 7.5 Lortab in potency. Codeine is significantly less potent than hydrocodone. Actually, hydrocodone has been found to be more potent, milligram for milligram, than morphine when taken orally. It would probably take up to 4 or more Tylenol 3s to equal one 7.5 Lortab in pain killing potency, and you must be careful of the acetaminophen.

Do not take these two medications together. The should not cause any major problems, but it would be a waste of perfectly good hydrocodone. The antagonistic properties of Nubain will cancel out the effects of the hydrocodone. Also be careful taking Nubain if you have been on using hydrocodone (or other "true" opioids like oxycodone, morphine, etc.) for an extended period of time. Nalbuphine is a tricky substance. In someone who has had no exposure to other paikillers, it works like morphine, but will precipitate nasty withdrawal symptoms in opioid-tolerant individuals.
