Can implantation bleeding occur if it is an ectopic pregnancy?

No Apparently they will raise slightly or even decrease every 48 hours. (e.g Hcg level 2000 could become 1800 in 48 hours in an ectopic)Whereas in a viable interuterine pregnancy the HcG levels will about double in 48 hours. This alone is not used for diagnoses a vaginal scan will also help to identify any mass in the tube. This will be to rule out a miscarriage also.

Can implantation bleeding occur two days after sex?

Implantation bleeding typically occurs 6-12 days after fertilization. Bleeding 2 days after sex is more likely related to other factors such as vaginal irritation, hormonal changes, or ovulation. If you suspect pregnancy, take a test about 2 weeks after intercourse for accurate results.

What is maximum time for embryo to implant?

The maximum time for an embryo to implant after fertilization is typically around 6 to 10 days. After fertilization, the embryo travels down the fallopian tube and enters the uterus, where it can implant into the uterine lining. Delayed implantation can occur in some cases, but it generally does not exceed 10 days post-fertilization for successful implantation to take place.

If your period is 2 weeks away but you believe you conceived last night should you take a pregnancy test now?

No. A pregnancy test detects HcG in your urine, which is released by the implanted embryo into your bloodstream. From what I've read, it can take 1 - 2 days (or more) for fertilization to actually take place after you have sex, and then from there, it takes anywhere from 6 - 10 days for the fertilized egg (embryo) to actually attach to the wall of your uterus. From there, it still needs a bit of time to start releasing enough HcG for it to be detectable by a pregnancy test. Some tests are sensitive enough that you can take them a few days before your actual period is due, but rather than waste the money, just wait until you've actually missed your period (even by a day) before you take a test. Good luck!

After you have had the implant out when will my periods go back to normal?

After having a contraceptive implant removed, many individuals find that their menstrual cycles return to normal within a few weeks to a few months. However, the exact timing can vary based on individual hormonal balance and how long the implant was in place. Some may experience irregular cycles initially, but regular periods typically resume soon after. If there are concerns about prolonged irregularities, it's best to consult a healthcare provider.

Is implantation bleeding harmful?

If it's more than just a tiny bit on a recent suture line, report to your surgeon ASAP.

Implantation bleeding remains for how many days. I normally bleed 3-4 days and what is its color?

You can have implantation bleeding from 3-7 days. Its usually lighter than your period and pink or brown in color. But, keep in mind every woman is different. So women actually confuse implanation bleeding with their period. I've heard of some women have actually had heavy bleeding and they thought it was their period, but i actually was implantation bleeding. I've also had this same experience with 1 of my pregnancies. Good luck:)

After partial pancreatectomy my mom died 6 days later from postoperative bleeding aspirating is this common and wouldn't you look for hemorrhaging?

I am so sorry to hear about your lose. I have recently had a total pancreatectomy and after suffering for years with Chronic Panc, I have tried to read any and all material I can get my hands on. What happened to your mom isn't that common. The fatality rates for this surgery are actually quite low. She would have been in more danger of getting pneumonia or an abscess. The took my spleen out during the surgery, because of the risk of detangling the pancreas from the spleen is time consuming, tricky and could result in hemorrhaging. With a partial pancreatectomy if the spleen wasn't removed, it possible that could have been the cause of the bleeding. I was in ICU for the first 5 days and then the next 2 wks in the hospital also. With something that hemorrhaging internal that is being aspirated should have been caught ASAP even with a quick check using an oximetry meter on a finger. It sounds like this was very fast moving, but still labs should have been off, her condition suddenly worsening is also a reason to pull an on call doc. If she may not have had such a terribly taxing surgery, there might have been something that could've been done as far as suctioning the blood in the lungs. They would still need to have found the source of the bleed and they may have been too much for your mom's body to take. I wish there was an easy answer here. My heart goes out to you. It should have been caught. Whether once it was caught if there was anything could be done, or tolerated is a different question. But this isn't a normal outcome to partial or total pancreatectomy
