Explain the transmission and distribution of electricity from the generation station to the consumer?

transmission and distribution of electricity are the way of regulate voltage to the minimum rate in which can be benefit to the consumers. From generating station , voltage generated is up 16/25kv which step up upto 330kv this generating voltage now step down in the transmission station through the step down transformer which is 132kv this voltage now transmitting to distribution station where voltage now step down to 33kv, this 33kv now stepdown to 415v for three line and 240/220v for a line for the uses of consumers.

What are the advantages of darlington pair?

A darling ton is a beta current multiplier. it output can be used to drive low impedance device

How do lock washers work?

A lock washer overlaps itself when it is new so that when you tighten the nut down the pressure causes it to flatten out and in turn put pressure against the nut and whatever it is against. The pressure plus the gap in the washer helps prevent the nut from turning.

What is the difference between 14 point card stock and 80 pound card stock?

8 pt approximates to 66 lb cover, or card stock 10 pt approximates to 80 lb cover 12 pt approximates to 92 lb cover and so on... so to answer your question, the difference is that they are different stock. 14 pt is heavier than 80 lb.

What is Cam Actuated Drill Ahead Tool?

The CADA allows you to jet in surface pipe and drill out without making an additional trip out of the hole. The 36" relies on skin tension to stay in place, and after observation from the ROV the CADA will release the BHA and allow you to drill out the next section of casing while all returns are coming up through the pipe. Low fracture gradients in surface section don't allow returns on the backside of pipe.

What is the tensile strength of aisi 1075 steel?

if its standard wrought carbon steel, the psi should be just about in the 100,000psi range. The last two digits of the designation, 75, are the carbon content. 0.75%. the higher the carbon content, the higher the tensile strength.

The ultimate tensile strength of a steel such as AISI 1075 varies depending upon the heat treated condition and hardness. The tensile strength of a steel can be approximated from the hardness using hardness conversion tables found elsewhere on the web.

What happens when connection for chilled water FCU Coil is reveresed?

the density of water is higher than the copper coil it doen not effect the gravitational force, because of the higher water density, the water try to achive the area of coil as we know the copper is the good conductor of cooling it absorb the cooling soon, we get the more cooling effect where air to be pump,if we does reverse connection in fcu so, cause of gavitional force water water will travel through the ciol soon and rusult into less cooling effect.as copared to previous connection

How does a ring fetter shaft coupling work?

The ring fetter is made up of 3 pieces. The outer cylinder, inner cylinder and the locking bolts. As you draw in on the locking bolts (usually caps screws) the inner and outer cylinders are squashed together locking the shaft to the bearing. To remove there are jacking bolt holes. The ring fetter is a one shot deal. the cylinders are distorted and win not seat properly again.

How do you calculate horse power of water pump?

You can approximate the horsepower capabilities of any electric motor by calculating incoming electric power. This is done by simply multiplying the rated voltage by the rated current. This will give you a unit of watts. There are about 746 watts per horsepower. Say if the motor is about 85% efficient, then incoming power will match output power minus this efficiency. Anyways, multiply incoming power by .85 and divide by 746 should give an approximate horsepower of the water pump's motor.

What equipment is used to check phase rotation?

A phase rotation meter. Or a small three phase motor can be wired up and its rotation observed.
