What is pressure in crankcase of reciprocating compressor?
...It will be what ever your suction pressure is.
What is the difference between gate and latch in digital electronics?
The difference between a latch and a flip-flop is that a latch does not have a clock signal, whereas a flip-flop always does.
Apart from the clock signal difference,
~ Latch is a level sensitive device while flip-flop is an edge sensitive device.
~ Latch is sensitive to glitches on enable pin, whereas flip-flop is immune to glitches.
~ Latches take less gates (also less power) to implement than flip-flops.
~ Latches are faster than flip-flops.
W - stands for Weldable
P - stands for made from Pipe
B - stands for Grade B
What are the uses of robots in the car industry?
Robots are currently used within the car industry in a lot of places to assemble cars and are gradually replacing humans within the field.
What are the different types of beams?
Tee beam, L beam & Inverted beam
tayyab..
there are many other types of beam such as cantilever beam , simply supported beam . t beam . knife edge beam and many more
What is negative boosters used in traction?
negative boosters are used in the return path of traction system
It is to decrease the voltage of the return path and to ensure that the return path voltage is much closer to ground potential
How do you calculate heat duty?
The simplest way to calculate the requirement of duty if you know the mass flowrate of one stream and the temperature difference (heating or cooling) you would like. For example if one wants to heat 5 gallons/hr Tri Ethylene Glycol (TEG) from 225 to 325 degrees F. Now, 5 gallons = 5*0.1556 = 0.78ft3 using density of 8.8lb/ft3 = 0.78(ft3)*8.8(lb/ft3) = 6.85lbs. 1. Find out the Heat Capacity (Cp) for TEG at 225 deg C = 0.6Btu/lb.F 2. Calculate Duty Q = m.Cp.dT = 6.85(lb)*0.6(Btu/lb.F)*(325-225)(F) =410.7Btu Answer: For heating 5 gallons per hour TEG from 225 to 325 F, the duty required is 411Btu/hr.
How do you align conveyor belt?
First I will describe a simple conveyor. We have 1 idler roller which is free turning and fixed into position with no adjustments. Then 1 power roller which moves the belt and has adjustments on both sides of the roller.
The initial setup would be to adjust the power roller towards the idler roller as far as possible. Install the belt so that it is centered as possible. Adjust the power roller away from the idler roller as evenly as possible to get enough tension on the belt that the power roller will drive it.
The next step will be to track the belt. The object is to adjust the power roller so that the belt stays centered. Turn on the power. If the belt goes to the right side of the conveyor, adjust the left side adjustment back towards the idler roller until it centers and stabilizes, or vice versa.
As a process fuels plant engineer my short business priorities:are:
continuous improvement in proces plants to ensure sustainability of the plants
Maintaining production capacity at 60% now to ensure the availability of petroleum products
re-stream Linear Akly Benzene plant and Lubes process plants to provide kero and touelene
What is the yield strength of Q345B steel?
the yield strength of Q345B is 345MPa for thicknesses <= 16 mm.
325MPa for 16 mm < thickness <= 35 mm.
295MPa for 35 mm < thickness <= 50 mm.
275MPa for 50 mm < thickness <= 100 mm.
How do you calculate 45 degree steel elbow weight-- need a formula?
The easiest way is to find the centerline length and multiply that by the linear weight of the pipe size being used.
Alternatively, this formula should give the weight of an elbow in pounds:
w=0.071*pi^2*R*(ro^2-ri^2)
Where:
w= weight of elbow (lb)
R=curve radius of elbow (in)
ro=outside radius of pipe (in)
ri=inside radius of pipe (in)
What is the standard wire color for PLC inputs and outputs?
There is no specific standard for PLC inputs or outputs, as existing standards wire color codes are based on voltage rather than by function.
Different standards apply in the USA, Europe or other countries, and it depends if you intend to wire a PLC for a domestic application or it is going to another place where the requirements may be different to the local ones. Check it.
These standards my help you:
NFPA 79
UL 508A
IEC 204.1 / EN 60204-1
If you mention where you are located or where is that piece of equipment going, maybe I can give you further info.
What is different between sawing and broaching?
Rotary Broaching is a method of producing both internal and external forms fast and accurately on the end of a workpiece. Rotary broaching makes it possible to very accurate forms within 0.0005 inches within seconds.
With rotary broaching not only can you produce standard shapes such as hexagons and squares but also shapes such as Double Hex Rotary Broaches, 6-Lobe Rotary Broaches, Serration Rotary Broaches, J500 Rotary Broaches, Spline Rotary Broaches, Involute Rotary Broaches, Torx Rotary Broaches, Double D Rotary Broaches and any other Special Design Required. Rotary broaches can be made to just about any size, English or Metric.
Some of the material that can be rotary broached is brass, aluminum and steel and can go as much as 2 inches deep.
Why are primary chilled water pumps smaller than secondary pumps?
PRIMARY CHILLED WATER PUMPS ARE SELECTED TO FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CHILLER WHERE AS SECONADRY CHILLED WATER PUMPS TO SUPPLY CHILLED WATER TO THE LOAD. FOR EXAMPLE TO THE FAN COIL UNITS & AIR HANDELING UNITS. IN NORMAL PRACTICE THE SECONDARY CHILLED WATER PUMPS ARE APPLIED WITH VARIABLE FREQUENCY (SPEED) DRIVE WHILE PRIMARY WITH CONSTANT SPEED, IN THIS ALSO PRIMARY CHILLED WATER PUMPS CAN BE USED WITH VFD SYSTEM. In relation to a/c mains electricity, or to audio frequencies, 400 kHz is very high. In relation to radio waves it is fairly low.
How does a transformer look like?
They are made in a large variety of types. Some of these are shown in the linked article.
