How would you calculate the admittance if you were given impedance?
To calculate the admittance if you are given the impedance, you take the inverse of the impedance ( that is 1/z).
Why perform transformer oil colour test?
Transformer oils are subject to electrical and mechanical stresses while a transformer is in operation. In addition there are contaminations caused due to chemical interactions with windings and other solid insulations, catalyzed by high operating temperature. As a result the original chemical properties of transformer oil changes gradually, rendering it ineffective for its intended purpose after many years. Hence this oil has to be periodically tested to ascertain its basic electrical properties, and make sure it is suitable for further use or necessary actions like filtration/regeneration has to be done.
What is a RFTBE weld neck flange I have never seen RFTBE related to flange description before?
Raised Face Through Bolt End.
Manual drawings are usually hand drawn on mylar sheets using a drafting table. Computer aided can mean several things. Using the computer to simulate a drafting table, or solid modeling that can be copied to the machines of many. This would include CAD for design engineers, CAM for manufacturing people, CAQ for quality control, etc.
What is normal and abnormal combustion?
Normal Combustion is said when there is no Content left after burning of fuel.
Abnormal Combustion is just the opposite.

What is the class of amplifier operation is used in almost all high-quality audio power amplifiers?
A: class a
What is the purposes of log book in electrical sub-station?
A: The log book intent is to provide a history of events and people entry in case there is a later problem somehow the history can be analyzed to provide an answer quickly as opposed to searching for phantom problems
Solenoids are used in Car Starters, Rail road as electric switch. They are also used as valves to control the flow of fluid in appliance like washing machine.
What are the materials used in injection molding machines?
Many material can be used inection machine. For standard machine, PP,PE,ABS are ok. For PC,PMMA, PET, PVC, you need injection machine with special screw and barrel.
Which filter is practically preferred to get pure DC output?
pi filter is best using inductor and capacitor.
What are the differences between the natures of dc flux and ac flux?
dc flux is caused by dc current (flux and current are proportional), it is a constant value. Put an inductor (or transformer winding) across a battery and you will get dc flux.
ac flux is caused by ac current (flux and current are proportional), it is a moving value, the flux moves with the current, typically cyclical but the waveform is arbitrary as long as we're moving.
What is the minimum acceptable value of insulation resistance of instrument cable?
more than 1 G ohms is acceptable.
cheers
What is incremental positioning in cnc machining?
A machine can measure either from the zero point, or from the last position that was. For example, when you say "X10", you mean 10mm from the zero point of the axis X, or you may mean 10mm further than the last position the machine was on the X axis. The way of measuring is decided from the G codes G90 and G91. Running the G90 command, the machine will start to measure using absolute coordinates (measuring from the zero point of the axis) and running the G91 command will set the machine into "incremental measuring".
For making matters more clear, see the following two examples. They generate both exactly the same thing, a rectangle as shown in file p7.jpg. The first code example uses absolute measurements and the second uses incremental measurements. At this point it should be said that almost all machines measures by default using G90 (absolute coordinates). For the following example, we suppose that somehow, the machines start from point 10,10 and not 0,0

What is the fracture toughness of mild steel?
The fracture toughness, or the property that describes the ability of a material containing a crack to resist fracture, of mild steel is around 50 K (where 'K' is the stress intensity factor).
What is the self-sustaining speed of gas turbine?
self sustaining speed is output of a turbine= input into compressor
