What kind of bug is a centipede looking kind found in my house in Colorado?

It is aparently a House Cetepede. More specific a (Scutigera). They are centepedes that like moist conditions. They like to hang out in abthrroms, bedrooms and what not. They eat most insects and even most spiders. They actually are very clean and do clean your house up for you. But most people believe they are a pest and kill them. Me myself I do too.

They can bite it is possible. but veryv ery very rare. By that I mean you are about as lucky to get hit by lightning rare. They usually do not go after any human or bite them. They have been proven a little been venemous but not even to kill a human. They hvae taken down a very samll mouse before though.

They are just like any other bug and hide in soem crevices and other small damp places. Under carpets. But usually are under your house in the boards and what not where it is damp when it rains and where it can feel secure and safe.

They usually start coming out around September and getting in to places when it starts getting damp but also still warm. Somewhere around September is when they are seen the most.But not always.
