The movies are more of an individual story line on their own rather than an actual part of the anime. They can be fit into the anime, but are more independent than anything else.

No, he chooses Kagome. Kikyo's not really alive--she lives off the souls of other people's --and Kagome makes more sense, anyway. Also, Kagome and Kikyo are very different people, regardless of Kagome being Kikyo's reincarnation .But...yes, Inuyasha chooses Kagome, he loves her for who she is anyway--not for Kikyo.

Well...in Ep 47-48 he chooses to be with Kikyo, but that doesn't happen, because Kikyo will die and Kagome is ended up to be with Inuyasha, and Inuyasha and Kagome were born for eachother not Inuyasha and Kikyo. Although Inuyasha does love Kikyo, but also Kagome.

For the most part, I've heard that 168 and above will have a petition sent out, people will be told about it on tv, and then if you sign the online petition and enough people do it, they'll bring it back. This is the rumor I've heard from a lot of people and can hope its true. I'll be on that list.

In the final act of the regular InuYasha series, InuYasha, Kagome and the others are still inside of the demon's belly. During this time, InuYasha puts a jewel shard on Tetsusaiga. But it makes him almost become a full demon until Kagome runs up behind him and hugs him, pausing his full transformation, yet his purple face markings stay. Then, with the swing of Tetsusaiga, InuYasha releases Adamant Barrage, causing the demon to 'die'. Kagome, being weak, collapses in InuYasha's arms. Then you see the group back with Kaede. Kagome's feet are badly wounded. InuYasha then takes Kagome up into a tree with him where they say their last words of the series.

Yeah but in the final episode, kagome is in the darkness with the shikon jewel(jewel of four souls) and its asking her to make a wish but then she hears inuyashas voice and he tall her not to wish until he gets there and the jewel asks kagome if she wants to see him but she doesnt answer so then he gets there and they kiss and she wishes for the shikon jewel to disappear forever so it disappears and it showed naraku peacfully dying and then the scene goes to three years later when kagome graduates and then kaede and rin are running to the house because sango is having her third baby with miroku and then inuyasha and kaede are talking and shippo comes and informs her that inuyasha has been going to the well every three days so the shippo gets kicked away and he tells kaede even though he didnt he didnt like to talk about it that when the shikon jewel was distroyed they ended up in kagomes time and then and sote(brother) her mom and grampa were all crying so then kagome went and hugged them and inuyasha has been sucked into the well and sent back to the feudal era and ended up alone then sango and miroku are talking about how lonely inuyasha must be later sangos 2 twins are playing with inuyashas ears when he catches kagomes scent so he puts the twins on shippo and runs to the well when he gets there he looks and sticks his hand in and then kagome grabs it and come out and they hug and then everyone is riunited and so it shows sota her brother walking home from school and his friends ask him to introduce then to his "pretty" sister so he says he cant because shes not around and she got married after finishing highschool and he ran off to his grampa asking about an appointment then it shows what everyones been up to that sango and miroku started a family that sesshomaru left rin with kaede because they said she needs to get used to living with humans and decide between living with humans and sesshomaru when the time comes and it shows shippo going to his fox exam kinda and getting promoted and finally it shows inuyasha carrying kagome to a cliff-like place and watching the sunset and then kagome says,"now i will spend everyday with inuyasha, heading toward tomorrow". sad i know i actually cried xD and one more thing: IN YOUR FACE KIKYO! okay done hope this helped :)

Yes, Viz Media has recently picked up the rights to InuYasha: Kanketsu Hen (Japanese name) and will more than likely either subtitle the episodes or re-dub then with the original voice actors from the first series

No, that's untrue. Some guy from Idaho or Ohio or whatever started that rumor on wiki answers, I don't know for sure yet when the final act will be in English but it will NOT be coming on out January 21st.

The new season of InuYasha will be airing this October in Japan. There has not been a date set on when it will air in the United States, or if it will be released in the United States. The new season will play from where it left off to where the manga ends.

They don't actually get married in the manga. In the next-to-last chapter, Kagome goes back to her own time, and stays there for several years. Then, in the final chapter, she goes back to the Feudal Era, and finds that Miroku and Sango are married and have twin daughters and a newborn son.

It doesn't say how he died in the series, but in the third InuYasha movie, InuYasha: Swords of an honourable Ruler, it is said that his father died from a human who was in love with his wife. After battling Ryukotsai, he returns to Izaoyi, InuYasha's mother, in time to see his newborn son. When he arrives, he finds that somebody, I can't remember who, is abiut to kill InuYasha and his mother by burning their house down. He finds Izaoyi inside with baby InuYasha, and gives them the kimono of the fur of the fire rat, and they escape, leaving him behind to battle with the "murderer", but because he is so weak from his previous battle, he gets defeated and dies
