For ringtones already on your iPhone: go to Settings:Sounds:Ringtone. If your looking to customize your own ringtone with any song you can pick select songs and make ringers of them on iTunes and sync those ringers with your phone. If the song your looking for isn't on iTunes go on the internet and search for "free iPhone ringtone software." I use iRinger. It works well for me.

first go to the internet and download some movie that you like. next go to the internet and download format factory. after you have downloaded format factory,move a file to format factory and click all to mobile device. after you have done that go to the option output folder. then your file will be in the output folder. third go to itunes and click add file to library and open your converted video file and then sync it onto your iphone.

1. plug your phone into the computer

2. check to ensure the ringtones you want are checked (selected)

3. make sure your sync ringers (not the correct name but you get the point) box is checked

4. sync the iPhone

That should do it. If not you can try rebooting the computer, resetting your phone. If all else fails you can clean sweep your phone and start over. Try adding a few regular songs to your phone (not ringers) and see if that works. I feel like that will push the sync on into completion

ok i done everything you said... and it poped up a box that says (some of the items in the itunes library, including (name of song) were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found... what do i need to do now? it didnt copy any of the ringtones to my phone!?!?

It says that when you've added a file to your iTunes and then moved the file location and it still tries to find it in the old location. If the song your trying to make a ringtone from has a little error icon next to it in your iTunes that is the problem and you need to double click it and find that file. If not then I'm not sure of anything else to do. If your using some other software other than iTunes to make these ringers then maybe iTunes is blocking that software somehow.

You can restore it using itunes. You have to get the phone into restore mode first. Open up itunes on your computer. Plug the usb plug into the computer but dont plug in the iphone. With your iphone powered OFF, hold down the home button and plug the iphone up at the same time. It should put the phone into recovery mode. The phone will say "plug into itunes". Then itunes should recognize the phone in recovery mode and ask if you want to restore. If it doesn't work the first time keep trying holding down the home button and plugging to the computer.
