well the only risk is basically getting it bricked and it also reduces how long your battery lasts because of all the xtra juice it takes to run SBSetting and etc.... and it kinda makes it easy to completely mess up the ipod touch system from editing or changing things too much especially if you dont know what you're doing

i tactually tried jailbreaking and saw no point to it, some people love it because they get to customize their ipods but it just wasnt worth it to me and i saw a HUGE drop in battery length

I found this from zolved, and i :

1. connect your ipod touch to itunes

2. press or hold the power and home keys 10 seconds

3. screen goes black, now release the power button

4. make sure you don't release the home key until your itunes says "we have detected an itouch in recovery mode

5. after this its simple, all you got to do is a simple restore using your itunes

Mostly you either delete songs, apps, videos or pictures. I can tell you right now videos take up a lot of GB, so I suggest deleting some of them first, then go from there.

The iPod is just an overpriced MP3 player. It's a brand name that has become synonymous with the type of product it is, such as Xerox or Kleenex. The iPod is a very nice machine, but many people (myself included) find its strict ties to the iTunes music manager a little prohibitive.
