I also got 137 as my IQ and I'm 14 years old so yes its a very high IQ and yes its very good for a 16 year old.

IQ's given by professional are usually given as a percentile rank. A 137 IQ is very high, anyone who says it's not is crazy. If your IQ is 115, you are better then about 65-70% of all people, which is good when you think about it.

That is quite a good score. I scored 427 and in the 87th %tile and that is quite good and will get you into almost any grad program. To give you an Idea. the 427 of mine equayes to a 146 IQ on the WAIS scale and that is close to what I actually scored (147).

IQ is traditionally the ratio of mental age to physical age multiplied by 100. At the extremes, it's largely meaningless - an IQ of 1 would mean a 100 year old person with a mental age of 1. The average IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is between 90 - 110. So for one to have an IQ of 1 would be highly improbable.

If you took the IQ test with a professional, then ask the professional about your results. If you took the IQ test online, then completely ignore those results. An IQ test can only be administered by a trained professional.

The answer is obvious, but the question is hard to believe. But if it is true, the 12 year old is the most intelligent person alive, or that has ever lived.

The question is nuts - if he is in the dark, he will never know if he has a pair. If he switches the light on to check, he could pick two from the pile that matched. However if he takes 3 and walks into the light he will have a pair.

Without repeating a grade, I would say about 7th or 8th or 9th, depending on what year and month the 14 year old was born in.
