What is the age of a 12 gauge JC Higgins 101.7 double barrel shotgun?
Somewhere between 1942 - 1962. That's all i know so far, but there is a good chance it is actually built by Stevens, model 311a
What is the value of a 20 gauge Ithaca shotgun Model 66 single shot lever action shotgun?
what i did to get an idea on what it "could" be worth, is to look up online stores that have them, and compared mine to them. they have prices listed so i guesstimated mine.
All I can tell you, It was before 1925. You should get a copy of The Ithaca Gun Company - From the Beginning" by Walter Snyder. There is a list of Ithaca serial numbers in this book that have been verified as belonging to Wells Fargo and Company. If your number is in the list, it will greatly increase the value of your gun.

What is a Ithaca hammerless s x s nitro powder steel serial number 62146 made in 1902 worth?
There is an Ithaca hammerless s x s 12 ga nitro powder steel barrels shotgun for sale now on auctionarms.com:
http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=9421827&oh=
The current high bid is mine at $156. It has three more days before close of auction. It's serial number appears to be 71938, which would put it near the same manufacture date as yours. I just bought one from gunbroker.com for a little under $200, which included shipping of $25. I believe mine is newer. Neither are in great shape & that always makes a difference. If yours looks like it did in the hardware store waiting to be sold, I am sure you could triple these prices. Nov 1, 2009

What is age and value of a 12 gauge Utica Firearms double barrel shotgun number 35342?
This name was used by a few gunmakers, but most likely this gun was made by Crescent Firearms of Meriden, CT sometime between 1893 and 1930. If there are additional markings, they could reinforce or disprove this conclusion. Value, regardless of actual manufacturer or date, will be in the range of $150-$250.
What is the value of a 410 Ithaca Model M66 Supersingle lever action single shot in great shape?
The model 66 super single was manufactored from 1963 to 1978 in 12, 20 and 410 gauge. Most estimates are about 125.oo to 175.00 in near perfect condition, but I have seen over 300.00 paid. I guess it depends on the buyer and the reason it's being purchased. Hope this helps.
What is the history and value of a Berkshire double Damascus barrel shotgun with Serial No T3210754?
Berkshire shotguns were manufactured by Meriden Firearms Co, Andrew Fyrberg Mfg Co, and Crescent Fire Arms for Shapleigh Hardware Co of St Louis and Sears Roebuck.
You've totally lost me! Is it a .22 lever action, with 18" barrel, or a shotgun? It can't be both! A 39a with N prefix was made in 1956, but they didn't make one with 18" barrel, so your's must be cut down length.
What is the year of a Utica double barrel shotgun that has hammers and was sold by Simmons?
I have 5 listings for Utica. Does it say "Utica Firearms Co. London Fluid Steel" or "Utica Fire Arms Co. Pat. Nov. 25, '90, March 29, '97"? The first of those would be a Crescent product made between 1892 and about 1914. The second by Hopkins & Allen, 1898-1915. If it says something else, it may be from another manufacturer. Simmons Hardware sold guns made by many firms. Crescent made hammerless sidelock guns for Simmons and probably also made hammer guns. Utica hammerless boxlock gun no. 34434 with "London Fluid Steel" barrels in my collection marked "Utica Fire Arms Co." with pat dates "Nov. 25, '90 and March 12, '91 or 97" was made by Hopkins & Allen. Hopkins and Allen also made an unusual sidelock gun with the locks set into the side of the action as opposed to being set into the wood. These were know as "iron frames".
What is the value of an Ithaca model 51 shotgun?
Depends on where you try to sell it. For example, try and take it to a Gander Mountain and they'll tell how great of a gun it is (which I agree) but will then tell you that they have a policy in place to not buy Ithaca model 51's. The reason is the replacement parts are too expensive; thus making the gun, in there eyes, essentially worthless. Consider it a "niche" market. Someone has to be looking for THAT gun, not just A gun.
Bluegrass was a trade name used by Belknap Hardware of Louisville, KY. The Mossberg model L was a new one for me, but I found it in the books and it fits your description to a T. Blue Book says it was manufactured from 1929 to 1932 and the value at 60% = $165 and at 100% = $450. Parts are going to be hard to find for something that had such a limited run, unless other Mossbergs would use the same buttplate. You might try Numrich Gun Parts at the related link. * Those prices are for a gun with the Mossberg name. Having the Bluegrass name will probably take a bit off the value to a Mossberg collector (if there is such a thing) but maybe add a bit if you can find someone who collects Belknap items.

Where can you find the serial number on an Oxford Arms double-barrel shotgun?
OXFORD ARMS CO was a tradename used by Belknap Hardware of Louisville, Kentucky on shotguns made by Crescent Fire Arms Company and by J. Stevens Arms Company. It will not have a serial number as these were not required on firearms sold in the US before 1968.

You might want to check out Gunbroker.com and see if a similar gun comes up in the listings. That could give you a rough idea of what people are willing to pay. As with most things - it is worth what someone looking for one is willing to pay :-)
