A National Firearms company is a shotgun that was made around 1864 and the pat. was picked up by Marlin and they made the model 17 and 30 and so on so look up a model 17 or 30 Marlin which where made between 1907 thru 1917

Well, first of all the serial number given is for a model 37 and not the model 51. All model 51s serial number begin with 5100. Since your begins with 37 would you not believe that it is a model 37. Your model 37 was mfg circa 1975.

I believe you are referring to the Ithaca Tikka LSA-55 turkey combo gun. Not to be confused with the Ithaca Tikka LSA-55 bolt action, short action rifle, the combo gun was imported back around the mid 1970s. It was 12 gauge over 222 Remington over and under configuration. It was marketed as a turkey gun. The 12-70 refers to the gauge and length of the cartridge in millimeters. In this case, it means a 12 gauge, 2.75" shell as opposed to a 3" mag shell. Your ithaca flues was made in 1909,so you were close.i would have a competent gunsmith look over your nice ithaca shotgun.he would be able to tell you if your shotgun can first be shot safely and second if the steel used on the shotgun barrels and reciever were made for smokeless or blackpowder shotgun shells.

A lot less than a new 870 Wingmaster in any gauge. $300 if you are lucky. However, if it has the same year barrel and original wood and it is in 98% condition then it could be worth $750-900. With the box, paperwork and hang tag it could be a 1500 dollar gun. If it was a 12 gauge I would tell you to enjoy it and shoot it, but with the price of shells for a 16 gauge I would sell it and buy a 12 or 20 gauge. Since they have built more than 10 million 870s they have little collector value. I have a 1951 870 wingmaster in 12 gauge and I was stoked to learn that it was worth $300 and I paid $265 for it in 2008. I just hunt dove and quail with it and keep it clean and try not to scratch it up too much. An 870 is just a good working gun and should be used as such.

I don't for sure but ithing it's from 1978. Try going to ithacagunrepair.com , it list guns made by ithaca. Look under model 37 all grades gun. I hope this helps

your 1911 is a colt made pistol from 1942. your slide probably says Ithaca, but it is the wrong slide as often happend in the military when cleaning pistols parts got mixed up.
