The other form of stem is a modified stem derived from the full given name.

Examples of these names are: Taro-Chan from Tar?, Kii-Chan from Kimiko. "-kun" is used to talk to men who are younger or the same age as the speaker. A man might address female inferiors by "-kun" usually in schools or offices. It can be attached to both surnames and given names. It isn't used amongst women or when talking to one's seniors.

Overall suffixes such as Chan and kun soften the name giving it an warmhearted, younger feeling. However, it's not unheard of to see women address each other as -Chan well into their later years of life. I find such practice endearing whenever I hear it.

I think that it means something along the lines of "spirit of the golden heart", I may be wrong but this is how I translated it. Breaking it down into its individual components:

1)"ougan/ougon" I think means gold or golden (can't find either word online individually so i am taking the translation from sentences with the word in it)

2)"kokoro" means heart so the sentence is about a golden heart

3)"no" is a particle that gives ownership to the previous word as in belonging to or of (such as watashi no namae {watashi translates into I} meaning my name and watashi no~ meaning ~of me or ~belongs to me) so the sentence refers to something belonging to or of a golden heart

4)megami translates into spirit or essence, therefore it is translated to "spirit/essence of a/the golden heart" with ougan kokoro being possessive of megami similar to president of the united states of america translated to"Amerika NO shacho" "united states of america NO president"

The Japanese language is very difficult for foreigners to understand, even though it is many times simpler than english (especially in pronounciation) the many differences in the grammar and order of the words makes things difficult to understand for foreigners. always remember this and pay very close attention when translating to or from japanese to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings.
