How much transmission fluid for jeep?

what kind of transmission does your jeep have? model and year? need info to answer this its not a one size fits all type deal. I have the AW4 4 speed auto on a jeep Cherokee and just draining the pan I need to replace around 3 quarts of Dex/Merc III type fluid. doing a full system flush would require more but unless you do the transmission pump flush I do not recommend using any machine that flushes under power.

Why does your Jeep stall?

I have found what causes the jeep line to shut down or stall out with loss of power for no apparent reason, but I need to talk to a Chrysler representative and their electrical engineers to show the cure for this problem that has plagued the jeep line since the 90's and even before. This is a manufacture oversight error. but I have found the fix. My 1996 jeep has the application installed on it and very inexpensive. once and for all a cure, and when I make my presentation, it will stun and confuse Chryslers engineers to where all of their education can be throw it out the window. I just gave you a clue.

How much does it cost for a new jeep canvas?

Anywhere from 400-650 and more, depending on manufacturer and quality. You might be able to find one at a junkyard for less, but I'd go with new. Check out Quadratec.com for a good selection; that's where I've bought all my new tops.

Was the jeep used in world war 1?

No. There were early versions of military trucks by the US and French, but a lot of the transportation was by horses and trains. One vehicle that was used was a 4x4 Ford 1/2 ton truck, which was larger than the eventual 1/4 ton jeep designs.

The first vehicle to be called a jeep was likely the "Quad" or Willys MB, a 4-wheel drive, independent-suspension vehicle built by Willy-Overland in 1941. It and the Ford "Pygmy" were at least partly based on the BRC-40 "Blitz Buggy" designed by the American Bantam company in July, 1940.

One source suggested for its name comes from the initials GP, or "general purpose" vehicle. Others suggest that "jeep" was just a name for any untested vehicle.
