JK always loved to write. From a very early age she wrote stories about a rabbit called Rabbit. She never really considered doing anything else. She was a teacher of English, but then had the idea for Harry Potter. JK always loved writing stories, and she always had a passion for reading. She always wanted to become a writer, but did not think she would get a publisher to be interested. She submitted the first copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to many publishers before it was accepted by Bloomsbury, a small publishing house.

She wrote the Harry Potter series of books, which were world wide bestsellers.
