The water/coolant mixture runs through the engine block absorbing the heat out of the steel/iron and aluminum engine parts generated by friction and internal combustion. It flows through the passages and hoses to the radiator, which is where the liquid temperature gets lowered by the air blowing through it by the motion of the vehicle, as well as by cooling fan(s). It is also the source of heat for the vehicles passenger compartment heating. Antifreeze/Coolant mixed in the water will keep it from boiling too fast and evaporating or overflowing from the extreme temperature of the heat it absorbs, as well as keeping the water from freezing solid in cold climates, and too much coolant in the water, can keep the water from getting hot enough for the heat to work, which affects the engine temperature sensor, which can also affect the cars performance if it has a sensor tied into the main computer system. On older vehicles where there are no computer controls, that is not a problem, the vehicle will just overheat, or not supply heat.

As with most bolts, removing these bolts requires them to be turned counterclockwise as you look at the bolt head. Many times they are rusted in place. The best way to remove them is with an impact gun and a 5/8" hex impact socket.

DTE 15m is a ISO Viscosity Grade 46. A comparable Deere oil would be Bio Hy-Gard 5W-30.

John Deere makes some of the best lawn, garden, and farm equipment in the country. As long as you use the equipment inline with the manufactures recommendation it will last for many many years.

First, it depends on which wiring diagram you need. To ensure you have the correct wiring diagram, you will need to know your serial number, as there are several serial number breaks for this model, each with different options. Next, the best way to get the specific diagram you need is probably to talk to your local or closest JD dealer. They have all the tech, repair and diagnosis manuals for every machine they sell and service. They should be able to scan or photocopy the information for you and if needed, they should be able to fax it to you, free of charge(hopprfully). If you want to try and find it on the internet, you will need to find the Technical manual for a 9500 combine, and either order it or upload it to your computer. The schematic information should be in section 240 Electrical systems operations, tests and schematics in that manual. Hopefully this helps!

All depends on its condition ,Its the Little Brother to the # 80 cart and these will sell for anywhere from 200--300.00 Or more if in Good to Exc. The #50 Cart if in Good condition ---Thinking 100.00---150--175--200 would be tops in Really Good condition ,would be my Best guess.

I have a 1947 john deere model m tractor serial # 12971. when i first got this tractor, i took it apart, and labled each wire at each end (where the wire went) at the ignition switch there is a terminal marked on the switch (lts). the other end of this wire goes to the headlights with a pig tail that goes to the tail light. there is another terminal on the switch that is labled (ign) this wire goes to the negative side of the coil. another terminal on the switch is labled (bat) this wire contains the 20 amp fuse and goes to the + terminal on the amp meter. another terminal on the switch is (mag) mine has a distributer so this terminal has no wire. the last terminal on the switch is labled (fld) this stands for field and the wire goes to the generator terminal labled (f). there are only four other wires in the system that do not go through the switch. the first is the wire from the plus side of the ignition coil to the distributor. the second wire is one from the (g) terminal on the generator to (gen) terminal on the cut out or regulator. the third wire in the system, that does not go directly to the switch, is the wire from the (bat) terminal on the cut out or regulator to the (+) terminal on the amp meter. the last wire is from the starter to the (-) terminal of the amp meter. I guess i should have said from the start that my tractor is a negative ground.

More than likely it is a bad ignition coil.

It means that not all gears in the transmission can be power shifted. Some require the clutch.
