alot of work but if your willing ill tell u first remove the belt from tensoiners then remove cotter pins and mover bars the ones that look like bars the back is bolted remove bolts and it should drop down

It depends on the mower. For most mowers which have the blades driven by a belt then there is nothing to align. The blades should be short enough that they do not touch each other in any position. The blades will be mounted under the deck at angles that allow them to overlap each others cut.

Have you tried laying a piece of plain white paper over the tag and rubbing over it lightly with a lead pencil? If that doesn't work, try taking the tag off and checking the back side of when it was printed the numbers were pressed through or try the same technique talked about above.

John Froelich was simply an entreprenuer who ADAPTED a Case steam engine to run on gasoline. He also made many other improvements which he continued to adapt into the Waterloo Boy tractor. He simply wanted to improve upon what was already available.

The loaders will fit a variety of tractors, the difference you must know is the attachment pieces. Does it have a belt driven or shaft driven pump? If it is belt driven it is for the 300 series John Deere garden tractors. - 316, 318, 322, and 332. Shaft driven pumps are for the 420 and 430 tractors. Next you need to know what frame you have. There are three different ones. For the 300 series, 420 and 430.

I will let you know after I have ran mine for a while I just put in a mix of castrol synthetic 5w50 and lucas transmission treatment in a k44 tuff-tork transmission (supposedly a sealed system, but it is really not sealed) on a john deere L120.

The Deere TY26278 is the match for the WIX spin on oil filter number 51394.

It unscrews. I thought it was pressed on, but apparently not. I found this out after I had a puller on it and heated thinking it was froze well it came apart but only because the spider is aluminum and the shaft is steel. It sheared the threads off of the spider. But now you know it is screwed on.

john deere 24 desiel and gas units both have a mechanical variable drive. the belt number from john deere is GG020-30843

The code is D.I.A. It stands for diagnostics. The first fuse on the second row of the fuse box should NOT have a fuse in it. It is only for diagnostics.

It appears that Massey Ferguson built the first ones in 1947. It was the Massey Ferguson TO-20 Toy Pedal tractor. From here, some of the tractor builders would make pedal tractors after the big motorized models. John Deere made their first in 1968.
