George Eastman did neither. What Eastman did do was establish a system that simplified Photography so that anyone who could afford his camera could take pictures. He invented a particular hand-held camera that required nothing more of the user than to point it and push the button, and he established the first commercial processing facilities to eliminate the need for the user to have his own darkroom. The first hand-held Eastman camera was the Eastman-Cossett Detective Camera of 1886, but it proved to be too expensive to manufacture, so only a few were produced. The first Kodak camera was introduced in 1888, and was an immediate success, in spite of the very high initial cost of $25 for the camera, and $10 to process the 100-image roll and reload the camera.

Kodak has always been based in Rochester, New York. I don't know if some of their film is manufactured overseas or not. Kodak has plants in North America, Europe and Asia. They make film at Rochester, a site in England, one in France, and a plant in China.

I just sold one to an antique dealer for $8 and she put a price tag of $25 on it. They aren't very rare or valuable. She had a few other ones in the shop from 1934. If you have one I would suggest just sitting it on a shelf in your house. They look so neat.

In 1888 Eastman's company introduced its first portable camera. Priced at $25, it included enough film for 100 pictures. After shooting the roll of film, the owner sent both the film and the camera to Rochester for processing. For $10, the company sent back the developed prints and the camera loaded with a new roll of film.

The first Kodak camera was a box camera with a mechanical shutter. The shutter speed and aperture were fixed. Usable in daylight only, it was sold pre-loaded with enough black and white film for 100 exposures. After the film was exposed, the whole camera was returned to the Kodak company in Rochester, New York, where the film was developed, prints were made, new film was inserted, and then the camera and prints were returned to the customer.

I'm almost positive that your ground wire on the amplifier is loose, check the connection to the amp and then check the connection to the ground on your car, make sure it is tight and corrosion free. If this doesn't work, make sure your ground wire is of heavy guage ( thick). make sure that the ground wire is not any longer than it has to be. It has great zooming capabilities, up to 10x and you can even print out pictures all the way up to sizes 20"x30". If I were going to purchase a camera this one would be great since it has quite a few great options and its very easy to use.
