Daedong and Kubota where building tractors with Daedong metal work and Kubota engines. Kubota suspected Deadong of copying Kubota ideas. The partnership ended but Im pretty sure this is where the link is.
There are some small differences. We run both kubota based engines and the kioti copies in boats in our company. The 43 bhp variant of the Kubota looks very similar to the Kioti. The kioti engines seem to be much more noisy from new and produce much more smoke on start up. In my opinion Kioti is a budget copy.

There is a small round window on the transmission that can be seen just behind the clutch pedal on the left side of the tractor. The hydraulic fluid must be filled so the oil level is between the two lines etched on the window.
It takes about 8 gallons of hydraulic fluid for a drain and fill. The fill hole is under the rubber plug on the raised portion of the seat area between the driver's knees. There are four drain plugs.

Why is there a squeaking noise when driving a Kubota rtv?
The squeak is caused by lack of lubrication to the steering bushing.
Pull the steering wheel off. There is a rubber bushing that surrounds the steering shaft. Remove the bushing with a thin screwdriver. Once removed clean the bushing and shaft. Then add anti seize lube to the shaft and and bushing. Then use a 7/8 " deep socket to drive the bushing back into the steering housing.
Clean and add anti seize lube to the bottom of the steering wheel . Then install the steering wheel.

Fill the tank with fuel, open the fuel cock. 2. open the bleeding screws at the top of the filter with 2 turns. 3. when bubblesdisappear from fuel coming out of the plug, tighten the bleeding screws. 4. open the airvent plug on the fuel injection pump. 5. pull the throttle lever completely to stop the engine, andstart the cell starter for about 10 seconds. 6. close the air vent plug when air bubbles disappear from the fuel flowing out.
