Most lacrosse players are professionals in something other than sports (to echo the NCAA advertisement). Even those who are lucky & talented enough to play professionally in either the Major League Lacrosse or National Lacrosse League don't earn enough money from their playing to pay the bills (NLL average $14,000 US). So all those guys have day jobs, from being firefighters who need math to calculate how much a set of hoses on their trucks weigh to stockbrokers calculating dividends per share for their clients. Everyone uses math!

Its not even in the top 5, lacrosse is hockey for people who can't skate. Since skating is a talent that takes years to master and most Americans want everything and to be good at everything they do the first time they try it.

A lacrosse ball is very different from a baseball. It is heavier and more bouncy. A baseball is light and stings when you get hit, a lacrosse ball is more of a thud since it is heavier. A lacrosse ball is not harder than a baseball, but it does hurt more when you get hit by one.

There is no real disc video game, but in fact there is a mini arcade lacrosse game on xbox. you can be your favorite collage or professional team and battle your friends and family or just the computer. 1-4 people are able to play. if you need help getting to reach the game just comment!

Soccer and lacrosse are alike in some ways: the field length, the object to put the ball in the net. The general positions and objectives of the positions are very similar with offense, defense, midfield and a goalie. Both are team sports that require conditioning, strategy, and communication.

Loosen your sidewall strings and your string at the bottom of the stick. Push a ball in as deep as you need it and wedge something in there to hold the ball in (a piece of wood might work well). Tighten your sidewalls and bottom string just enough to keep that pocket and remove the wedge holding the ball. You might also have to play with your shooting strings, as your throw might go a little down now.

It depends on how much money you want to spend. Warrior gloves are good bu the best thing to do is find a store where you can try them on and see which ones feel the best. Generaly the more money you spend the the higher quality protection and materials your going to get.

For youth lacrosse, the required equipment is; Shoulder pads, Helmet, Elbow pads, Gloves, Mouth guard, and a stick. However there is also "strongly reccomended" equipment. Here is a list in order of importance. Cup/Jock Cleats Rib Pads Usually teams provide matching shorts and jerseys. Equipment varies for goalies.

Box lacrosse is where it is inside an arena or building, a bit different from field lacrosse which is played outside.
