I saw a documentary that showed that there is a cone like volcano deep under Lake Superior. I am wondering if it's named, or known to be true?

Thunder Bay on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior Canada was formed when the twin cities of Fort William and Port Arthur amalgamated along with two other adjoining townships in 1970.

The record size lake trout taken from Lake Superior weighed in at more than 100 pounds (about 46.3 kg).

Lake Superior was initially called "Kitchi Gami" by the Ojibwa people that arrived here around 1500. A later name was "Grand Lac," which appears on a map published in 1623 from information from Etienne Brule's explorations (and those of others). There are a few bays that are located on Lake Superior. They are the Hudson bay, the Bluefin Bay, and the Whitefish Bay.

The world's largest lake is known as the Caspian Sea. The Romans who discovered it found it to be salty and named it Mare Caspium and it is regarded as a lake due the fact that it is landlocked.
