It is not possible to get scratches out of stainless steel. A scratch has removed material from the surface. What might be possible is to polish the surface with an appropriate compound and make the scratch less visible.

The problem is, the effect of polishing works on the surrounding surface as well, and might make the material look worse than before.

Test an invisible, small area of the surface to see how the compound works on the material. Be sure to clean the compound off the material completely after use. Some compounds contain acids which will discolor the surface if not cleaned off completely.

If the surface has a 'brushed' or 'semi dull' appearance, it is probably impossible to polish it without creating an unsightly mess in the surrounding area. Some items are 'anodized' with a very thin color. In this case trying to remove a scratch will discolor the area and again make it look worse.

The best notebook computers are made by apple. The macbook pro notebook is the best laptop out there in my opinion. It is the fastest and the simplest notebook to use and understand.

Use a credit card, guitar pick or any similar small plastic, not metal, object to gently separate the corner tabs one at a time. On the top portion, you may be able to get just two on opposite sides off and then slide the case off. On the bottom portion, it is generally much easier to begin at the front of the computer.

Depends what your needs are.

The Ipad is good because it is easier to carry around (lighter weight and smaller size compared to a macbook) the ipad(2) will have a dual facing camera and the ipad has more apps in its app store than a mac book.

However, a macbook is much better if you are a student because there is no way you can type notes or essays fast on the ipad. Also, there is much more memory on a macbook, and a macbook can use programs like photoshop and garage band.

Overall, it's about what your purpose is for the device. If you just want a device where you can listen to music, watch videos, and browse the web the ipad is cheaper and much better. However, if you need more processing power go for the mac book.

Just find one on Ebay. That's all I can think of.
