I also have been a big fan of the Ultima II Wonderwear makeup and fortunately when I saw it disappearing off the online sites, I did some bulk purchasing and have a few bottles in my stock. I do agree it is the best for natural appearance with good coverage and super staying power. I've tried a bunch of other foundations at very high prices and the staying power doesn't hold a candle to the Ultima II. I have yet to try it due to my little stock pile, but others that can't find the Ultima, have recommended the Estee Lauder Doublewear which they review as being the closest to the Ultima. I would recommend starting with Dermablend, which is made to cover things like vitiligo. If that doesn't work, and it SHOULD--it almost always does--you'll need to use Joe Blasco Ultrabase. Hope it doesn't come to that, because Ultrabase, which is theatrical cream foundation, is nasty, nasty stuff to wear. You can feel this stuff on your face, it's that thick; OTOH, it will cover anything.

There are many guys that are well groomed and actually wear makeup who aren't gay. There's nothing wrong with taking care of yourself and wanting to look good. I work in a makeup store and have had guys come in several times to get matched up for some foundation. If foundation is what you're after, it's best to actually go to a counter or a store to find out your color. If you're worried about being seen, you can actually call ahead and make an appointment and at MAC they have a private makeup room in the back. Once you know your color, you can order it online or have someone else buy it for you. Some other things that guys buy: eyebrow gel, skin products, clear gloss, and bronzing non-shimmer powder.
