She was in a hotel in quite a few movies. The ones that immediately come to mind are "Niagara", where she and her husband were on vacation in a cabin at Niagara Falls. In "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", she and Jane Russell vacationed on a cruise ship before arriving at their hotel in Paris. And in "Some Like It Hot", Marilyn and her band stay at a hotel in Florida. I think she may have also been in a hotel in "Don't Bother to Knock", but I'm not 100% on that one.

Marilyn monroe had only two husbands, she had a child, Nancy, before her fame, but she was not married at the time, when she signed with the studios they made up a fake husband, and changed her age and name as they do with all actresses. Because James joined the Marines and left home so he and Norma grew apart and this fueled her ambition as a model. She finally put her career before her marriage when she demanded that James sign the divorce papers because she was told as a married woman she didn't have much of a chance landing a part with any good film studio.
