this sometimes occurs when your fuel system has a blockage, usually in the fuel filter. try changing the fuel filter first.
The dreaded 3800 RPM hesitation is cause 90% of the time by poor ground connections between the engine, the battery, and the car. Clean or replace all the under hood ground connections. If there is still a problem after that, look at cleaning the fuel injectors and (on a N/A) that your 5th/6th ports are operating correctly.
3800 RPM Hesitation I found that the plunger on the vacuum switch near the throttle cale was sluggish - spray WD40 and work loose- spray all linkages, springs and vacuum sdeceleration switch at front of manifold.
What order do the plug wires go in for a 350 engine?
this is a great question im a huge Chevy fan, anyway the firing order is 18436572,remove the #1 spark plug and bring it to top dead center on the compression stroke.than remove the cap and make sure that the rotor is pointing to the #1 spark plug this should be the first plug wire on the cap after the coil harness on the left.count the wire clockwise in the firing order noted above.than hook up the wires with #1 on the right front of engine and remember that the cylinders apose each other, any other questions let me know.good luck !!!
