some things to note.
Unless you have experience with similar substances (PCP, K, etc) DXM is not going to be anything like you've experience before. This is not necessarily a bad thing. DXM is a dissociative anaesthetic. is it a party drug? i'd say no. however, it can be quite lovely in a small comfortable, safe feeling setting with people who are either doing it with you or who know what people look like when they're on it (which, admittedly, can be a bit silly on occasion.)
another odd thing about dxm: the plateaus.
generally there are four (not exact, but I'm sticking to basics):
Plateau 1 - personally i couldn't tell you much about it. i know from experience the better stuff is much further in than the first plateau, so i never actually aim for it.
Plateau 2 - a nice place to start for a first timer. visuals become noticeable, music becomes more pleasant, and CEV's or keeping your eyes open in a very dark room with subtle music is extremely pleasant. associations between ideas loosen and creative ideas come out of left field rather constantly. pleasant place to be.
(Skipping over the details, but there is speculation of a bit of a small, unusual area between the second and third plateaus in which interesting things can happen; I've never dosed in an attempt to meet this spot, so i can't say much about it. Erowid is your friend.)
Plateau 3 - without a doubt my favorite spot. may not be best for someone who hasn't at least become accustomed to the second plateau. This spot can be extremely introspective. quite easy to get lost in your thoughts (and cev's, haha) in a darkened room with subtle music here; speaking can be difficult, as well as purposefully moving (such as, to go pee - not impossible, but it will be an adventure :P ) This is the plateau spent quite a bit in one's own head; i myself have confronted and defeated numerous personal demons at this plateau. the benefit of this is due to the dissociative properties of the substance; you're able to look at upsetting or even extremely disturbing personal issues without an emotional investment - that is; without fear. This reason alone is why i hold DXM in such high regard as a substance for self-improvement and understanding.
Plateau 4: haven't been there. plan to one day. important at this plateau that you have people near you experienced with dxm, and that they know you're aiming to hit the 4th plateau. at this point you will most likely be unable to communicate with anything in the tangible, physical world; the wrong witness may flip out and you may well wake up in a hospital. Surround yourself with people you trust and who know what the fourth plateau means.
For you; I'd pick a plateau that seems interesting for you; if you're a first timer, i'd aim for a mid to high second plateau trip the first go. after that, make your own decisions about what you can and can't handle. as far as I've heard and can tell - a too high dose may be unpleasant if you're unprepared, but ultimately you'll come out of it unscathed.
So. First step is to determine your weight in kilograms:

Now, a handy dosage chart per plateau (thank you wikipedia):
First plateau: At a dosage of 1.5 to 2.5 mg/kg, effects include a sensation of alertness, stimulant effects such as restlessness, increased heartbeat, and increased body temperature, intensification of emotions, general euphoria, euphoria linked to music, alteration of sensations of gravity, loss of balance, and slight intoxication. (my two cents: skip this crap- dizziness and stuff looks like it might look funny.. ooooh. skip this crap, head straight for 2)
Second plateau: At 2.5 to 7.5 mg/kg, effects include the same effects of the first plateau, with added choppy sensory input, entering a dreamlike state of consciousness, increasing detachment from outside world, a heavier "stoned" feeling than with first plateau, and/or closed-eye hallucinations (veeeeeeeeeeeeeery pleasant).
Third plateau: At 7.5 to 15.0 mg/kg, effects include flanging of visual effects, difficulty recognizing people or objects, chaotic blindness, dreamlike vision, inability to comprehend language, abstract hallucinations, delayed reaction time, decision making impairment, feelings of peace and quiet, near complete loss of motor coordination, short-term memory impairment, and/or feelings of rebirth. (at this point, if moving is necessary, keeping one eye closed helps greatly with coordination :P that said - you shouldn't be even thinking about driving anywhere at this point)
Fourth plateau: At 15.0 mg/kg or more, an individual may experience a perceived loss of contact and control with their own body, changes in visual perception, out-of-body experiences, perceptions of contact with "superior," supernatural, or other archetypal beings (ie. gods, aliens, vampires, etc.), other miscellaneous delusions, lack of movement or desire to move, rapid heart rate, complete blindness, increased hearing, and intensification of third plateau effects.
IN CONCLUSION (and disclaimer: these mg amounts apply ONLY to to the one asking the question (or to anybody else who happens to be 140lbs or so - anyone else; do your own math. pff.)
In order to reach each plateau, here's the dosages you're looking for:
- First plateau: 96-160mgs
- Second plateau: 160-480mg
- Third plateau: 480-960mg
- Fourth plateau: 960mgs+

You end up killing yourself for not reading directions and I'm not going to feel bad for you; it's just going to make it even more frustrating for me to get ahold of such an enlightening substance. Ugh... conscious speaks again; please, please, please: if obtaining your dxm otc; PLEASEFORTHELOVEOFGOD make sure DEXTROMETHORPHAN HBR is the ONLY active ingredient in the stuff. guaifenesin? skip it, unless you love puking. acetaminophin? skip it, unless you like liver failure. Coricidin? Slap yourself for looking at it. Stay the hell away from that stuff. It might not be fun at first, but a good 4-8oz of that horrifically foul red syrup may very well lead to the most pleasurable experience in your young life.

I may be two little to answer this question but. If your friends take drugs then they will get arrested, but maybe the cops will have to check you up just in case if you are not taking drugs. This is the moral of the story; if you take drugs it's a crime

Remember, the fetus is still developing in the womb. What it experiences there it "perceives" as being normal, so if there are drugs in the woman's body, the baby will be born with its brain "wired" to believe that having the effects of a drug is normal. When the drug is not given to the baby after it is born, its brain has to re-adjust to not having the drug thus it will experience withdrawal symptoms. As long as you have drugs in your system, the baby will have drugs in his or her system, both while in the womb and after birth (except after birth, of course, the baby is no longer receiving the drugs you abuse - but it will remain there just as long as it would remain in your system).
The baby will be born addicted. Not a very nice thing to have to contend with as soon as it is born apart from coping with life outside of the womb. This is why heroin addicted babies have an extremely difficult time and have a very high pitched, keening cry. The hospital staff can tell whether the baby is addicted to drugs upon its birth within minutes of delivery. These cases must be reported to CPS (Child Protective Services) and other involved officials (such as police) immediately by the staff according to hospital policy. This means, you have a high risk of losing your baby to CPS before you even have a chance to meet and really get to know your baby. Sometimes, though, CPS will only require the mother to attend various substance abuse programs (such as rehabilitation and/or NA meetings) in order to be allowed to retain custody of the new baby. It will really depend upon the type of drug found in the baby's and mother's systems.
Keep in mind, though, how much it sucks for you when you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms and how sick you get during that time. Do you really want your new baby to have to experience that kind of illness after birth, especially since the baby didn't have the option to choose whether or not he or she wanted to even partake in the use of those drugs?

Depends on the drug. If it is opiates then it does what it says it will do and increase the effect. But if it is Ambien then you need to be careful or you might keep sleeping if it is your first try then small doses till your body can meet you. I'm a over 10 year drug addict (recovering) so please be careful.
That depends on the drug. Many drugs have serious negative consequences when combined with alcohol intake. Sometimes the effect is just decreasing the effectiveness of the drug, but it can be more serious. As the previous answerer already noted, combining opiates with alcohol can increase the effect of the drug - with negative effects up to and including death.
As with all drugs, if you are one who indulges in an alcoholic drink now and then, you need to talk with your doctor and/or pharmacist about potential interactions of any drugs with the alcohol.

Although it is possible to drink alcohol while taking flucloxacillin, it is absolutely not recommended. It is believed to make the medication less effective.

Well, if you mean in between gauging give it a good two to three weeks to heal. I would say three to make sure it has healed fully. Your going to want to look at your ear to See if it still looks red, or any kind of blood (WHICH YOU DO NOT WANT IN A GAUGING SITUATION TO BEGIN WITH) Mine i can say i have waited about three weeks in between each stretch. I skipped sizes tho and went directly to an 8g. Not recommended tho bc it can mess up the elasticity in your ear. But i currently have a two and the other sizes i didnt skip and they went fine. I do recommend like some kind of vasiline or something on your taper so it doesnt drag against the skin in your ear. Leave your tapers in over night or for a full day and you should prolly be able to get a plug in quite comfortably. You do not want to use saddle plugs or double flare when the ear is healing bc more than likely your ear is healing and it will shrink to fit the size of whatever is holding it open.
