I have been taking less that 8mg suboxone daily this morning I took two 7.5 but hydrocodone still have a headache and sick due to sinus infection, can I take 1/4 th strip of suboxone now and not be sick ( withdrawls)

It is perfectly legal to drive on methadone, as it is on any other prescription drug, as long as you are not intoxicated.This means that for someone on a stable dose of methadone, who can pass a sobriety test, it is legal to drive. If the dose is too high or the individual's tolerance too low, or if the individual is prescribed other drugs which enhance the intoxicating effects of the methadone, the person will not be able to pass a sobriety test and will be considered intoxicated.

24 hours after initial consumption of methadone you should be able to get high off heroin. Methadone is an extremely potent drug which should not be mixed with other chemicals especially those containing opiates.

There may be a slight difference in the time it takes to get into your system. I have heard people say that the liquid worse for your teeth and tongue but it's probably minimal at best. Methadone 10mg pills take an hour and Ten minutes to feel the effect. With the liquid it usually takes around 25 minutes to a half an hour. Also Liquid is injectable where as some forms of the pills will gell up on you making them not injectable. Another problem is that the pills have been known to cause more nausea.

Yes you can. It's much easier with Vicodin than say Morphine, however Vicodin is still an opiate and is therefore very strong and influencing. If one abuses the drug and/or takes it habitually, it will be harder to quit. I'd say it is comparable to marijuana perhaps, though with heavy use physical withdrawals can occur. Good luck.

Although my experience is limited, I have found that there is no subjective, or objective withdrawal symptoms with just a 20-30% increase to my previous opiate dose- I can stabilize OF COURSE the decision to save myself from methadone..deserves a reward of a triple- up blast off.... then ya, sick comes quiker ..and without at least the 2-3 doses to make it thru to bedtime I would be off to an uncomfortable start. Lets say I do have the means to afford a 10 day bender... ? It does seem logical- it is fact..we see that heroin/opiate withdrawal is less frightening to anticipate, and a milder "hell to kick" ".. and with the lifestyle changes that a methadone routine provides,it could be the conditioning for a short visit .. 10 days to kick the methadone..without fear or pain ...then the awful 24-36 hours of torture we face till we can begin the REAL HELL of kicking cold turkey ..600,00 seconds till our 1st glorious flash of relief...when its better.. just the worst flu ever... not the vividly slow motion fire and freeze of every last cell ..100 weight sand-paper wet suit..soaked sheets, pillow, toes sweat.. sleepless..a totally un- distractable torture . And.. the knowledge.. a sip of methadone... and its just the 10-15 min till your body absorbs it.. 110% better.

The "shoulda coulda -if i woulda" regrets associated with the methadone "kop-out", had better be a finely tuned battle-plan... or, - its back to the clinic "sweatin like a slave"..

AND REPEAT...

It does make sense... but its not likely that the weakness we cultivated with the progression of an already sensible debate.. life sux.. drugs get u hi.. get hi.. u cant ruin what will only die.. ***

simplified.. if you are bionic..a super-sport will.. angels pullin your strings..and guaranteed bliss upon drug-free- dom.. You still need luck to end up on the 8% side of statistics.

if i were someone asking this question i would ask a doctor but im not sure if my awnser is correct but i mostly think that u shouldnt use it after because nicotine is very posiness and could cause many problems after taking methotrexate

Im not sure, I take 1000mg per day, by IM, by mouth Immediate release and M-Eslon time released. I have taken up to 2000 mg and the only effect was no pain. It is a hard question because if you do not take morphine I believe 20mg IV could overdose or kill you.

It differs from person to person while one person like above but I think he or she means 100 and 200 mg because a gram of morphine is white a bit. can take a high amount of morphine somebody who hasn't taken any kind of opiate can have respitory failure with only a small amount. It depends on a thing called tolerance.

In the U.S. doctors can prescribe methadone for pain management but not for MSW (addicts)

I don't know, but that doesn't sound safe to me. i was just prescrided pain killers and muscle relaxers for my back. i believe those meds gave me panic attacks, and the doctor prescrided me xanax only .5mg. i think i need a higher dose bec. i still feel anxious alot and cant stop thinking about it. I would not recomend taking all of those drugs nless you talk to a doctor. I was taking my Meds like i was prescrided and it made me feel like i was going to have a heart attack or die.now i am only taking Xanax. I would rather have a broken back then have the anxiety!!!! I don't know if this helps, but just alittle something to give you an idea.

Yes they detect differently. I know that some drug tests require a seperate, specific test to detect methadone (and it shows up as methadone).

Perfect euphoria in my opinion, it shouldn't be dangerous either since the morphine was prescribed by my doctor for my degenerative spine disks and the Ritalin was prescribed so I wouldn't sleep so much from the morphine. Try 30mg of morphine and 20mg of Ritalin intranasal.

If methadone is taken as prescribed and responsibly, you should be able to operate heavy equipment. If you experience any drowsiness, do not operate heavy equipment and you should contact your doctor about adjusting the medication.

Sometimes eating about thirty minutes after ingesting methadone will help the drug to work more quickly and effectively. I have been told this by workers at a clinic and also patients who complained that the drug wasn't working well enough for them. When I was put on methadone, I would wait about 20 to 30 minutes after I took 2 pills, then eat a small snack or a meal, and it would "kick it in" so to speak, making me experience more pain relief and I felt I got more out of the medicine than if I had not eaten anything at all. Drinking hot coffee also seems to help for a lot of folks. Different pain medications work for different people and I believe in using methadone because it has a long-lasting effect and the patient only doses once a day. Other pain relievers such as lortabs or percocets only last a few hours and then more pills are needed to continue pain relief. Roxicodone is only a break-through pain reliever, sometimes lasting only an hour. Also, methadone is not a drug that is likely to be abused intravenously like Roxicodone or oxycontin. I believe it is safer because it is used mainly once daily, it is a pill or liquid to be ingested, not administered intravenously.

yes.. i have known people to abuse methadone when they cannot find heroin. methadone also has a withdrawl factor that can be compared to actual heroin withdrawl. eventhough it is used to get off heroin its really just substituting one for the another.

Studies show that the use of anti-depressants, combined with Methadone usage severely increase the negative side effects of Methadone such as slowed breathing, respiratory failure, and death. I would recommend, although tedious, reading the entire medication information packet that comes with your prescription and you will find this info there.
