8th grade is normally the last year of middle school, and most kids are 14 years old at the end of that year, except for the youngest ones with summer birthdays who are still 13. There are still some places that have "junior high school" rather than middle school, which is grades 7-9 instead of 6-8 or 7-8. So in that case the kids finishing 9th grade and leaving junior high would be 14 and 15 years old. But although that used to be the norm back in the day, most school systems nowadays do not do it like that.

The importance of an understanding of ADHD/ADD from all aspects of the students life is vital. All persons who communicate with the student must have a broad understanding of what sorts of difficulties the individual may or may not have. In order to help a student in high school who has ADD or ADHD within the educational setting the tutor or assistant must possess this knowledge. There a many techniques and strategies which can be used to over come these difficulties. There are numerous books which can advise on these strategies, some of which may work some may not, each individuals learning styles may differ. The same advise applies for students home and personal lives. ADD and ADHD is an invisible disability and it is not a choice for those not being able to concentrate or be impulsive or inattentive. The key is to understand and accept these difficulties and allow some aspects to be overlooked. Structure and consistency is important for those who have ADD or ADHD and if this is in place then the pathways can be made and set for the learning to take place.

yes and no. if you have a date, then yes. if you are going with your friends, it could be fun. if you are going all by yourself, your not going to have any fun, unless you let go. Even with a date or friends if you let the fear of what people think of you keep you from dancing or what ever you won't have as much fun. Remember that most people probably don't care and if they do then they have major issues that don't include you.

First to prepare for school I would suggest the night before pre pack your backpack/luch/snack/etc. Make sure you have your clothes ready, and your backpack filled with any summer assignments. Also, pack a snack and lunch, and a pencil case filled with pencils, pens, highlighters, and a mini hand sanitizer for any dirty project or just because schools are dirty in general. I would also pack a binder, tabs, etc inless your school provides you. Also put in your cell phone in case of emergancy and even if yo wanted to a little hygine set. In that I would pack deoderant, extra lipgloss/chapstick, pads (if mother nature is greeting you), extra cocealer, a small body mist, boby pins, rubber bands, and mints. That's what I would pack, hope this helped!

Here to the percentage of teen parents completing high school also is very small.

They actually shouldn't. As you know, we have latley seen under-age drug and weapon use.They could simply hide their drugs and weapns inside the locker. Although it would be nice to have private lockers, we can't trust kids these days.

Middle school can be a hard place to adjust to. The classes are different, your friends may not be in the same classes as you anymore and the teachers usually don't take excues like the elementry teachers do, not to mention all the hormonal changes and such that most kids start to go thruogh. Just give it time and know that you aren't the only one that goes through this. There are always school councilors to talk to about anything you need to get off your chest or if you need any advise.
