The last guy was wrong, you can make it (MAKE SURE YOUR MINECRAFT WORLD IS CLOSED) , if you spawn a horse in a 1.6 snapshot world, and then go to mcedit the red box that all mobs have will appear, select blocks around it and press filters, if you have the filter. Then press create spawners, press filter, then hit that save button, hope this helps :)

1.6 and 1.6.1 had a couple of bugs in it and was a problem for some people. Simply download the 1.6.2 or newest version and it should fix the problem. If it doesn't then you will have to reinstall the game. Usually you can just save your world saves, screen shots and such in your .minecraft folder and delete the .minecraft folder and start the launcher again and it will re-download the game. The bin folder is no longer used so it will not be re-downloaded.

You have to mount it and ride it (break it) just like the cowboys do, it may take a few times to tame it. Don't forget to have a saddle in your inventory to ride it after your done and a lead to tie it up so it doesn't wander off later.

One way I've heard is to give the horse some apples and then mount it and it should reduce the times it bucks you off and you have to remount it.

You simply need to put them in the smelting slot (top) in a furnace and power it with something like coal, charcoal, lava buckets, and other things (this is on bottom). You should get gold ingots from it. You can create gold blocks by filling every slot in the crafting table.

If you mean the gold blocks that you make, then put the block in a crafting sqare and out comes 9 gold ingots

You need to make a potion of fire resistance. Armour can be enchanted, and one possible enchantment is fire resistance too.

Lightning deals two and a half hearts of damage and sets fire to the block it strikes. They can kill a player.
