Herobrine didn't actually die. He got removed, because he was actually a mob. But the mob couldn't actually be in game unless you hack the game. The mob is called a human. They just wander and jump around , but they are hostile.

You either hold shift until you touch the ground or double tap space.

Pressing and holding shift will lower the player until you touch ground. Once ground is touched, "flymode" is off. Also, double clicking space with cancel flying.

Carrots spawn in NPC Villages that have Generated after the Carrots were added to the game.

If you made a world before Carrots were added you may have to explore newly generated areas or simply make a new world and find an NPC village that way.

The Yogscast does not allow members of the public onto their server. Only members of the Yogscast are allowed on the server.

It should be the same as you would on a Windows, just go to the website, download it, and then run it as you would.

A cobblestone road is a road made of a square or rounded stones. The ones of I have seen have been two types. A square stone brick is fitted together to make a road. There is also a round stone used at other times. Most often I have seen these in residential/shopping areas and they are very hard to walk over. The square brick seems to be used most often on on/off ramps and roads.

If you mean close the window, you click the 'x' in the top right. If you mean launching the game, you click the big button which will say either 'Play' or 'Play offline' in the bottom center of the window.

In single player the best and only way is to mine. For best results, mine in the bottom 16 blocks of the map. It will take a long time though. In multiplayer, you may buy it so this could be a cheap way, voting for the server, which is free but requires some time and may not even be available and you may even be given it as a gift which is very good. Griefing it is a bad idea, you will be banned unless it is a griefing server.

First you have to actually download the Minecraft server software from the site. Make sure to get the .jar file. Then open the server by clicking on it and it's up. To get people on it you have to get your ip address and give it to them. To find it just open command prompt and type in ipconfig. Once you press enter, look for IPV4 Address and type that in. That should get you on your server. If you have any more questions, ask me.
