Is there a dragon on creative mode?
Yes, to get to the ender dragon on creative you will need ender eyes. Right click while holding ender eyes and follow the way it goes.If you throw right click it and the ender eyes go strait down then follow it downwards and then you will find the ender portal. fill the sockets with ender eyes and then jump in it. Then you should find the dragon.
Be careful though once you have entered the ender world you will not be able to get out again.

How to get Java to work on this computer?
Hi, Just want to give a little bit more info on the problem:
I'd never really bothered with Java until I tried to play Minecraft (to be quite honest, I'm not much of a computer person at all) but have since discovered there's some kind of issue with my Java. When I try to load my downloaded version of Minecraft it gives me an error message before I try to sign in - signing in is hopeless, btw. It just doesn't work. The error message I receive is a HTML code: "<html><body><font color="#808080"><br><br><br><br><br><br>… to update news<br>java.net.SocketException: Connection reset</center></font></body></html>" The in browser version does not work either.
After trawling through several help sites I discovered it was in fact a problem with my Java. It was recommended that I uninstall Java and try re-installing it. I did this and tried installing both the 32-bit and the 64-bit (though my laptop is 32-bit). The version I downloaded was the newest 7.4 version. I tested my Java download on the Java website after both downloads and both times it told me there was an error! The error message I am recieving is as follows:
"ClassNotFoundExcepton
testJava2_1.TestVMApplet.class"
I have tried running it on Firefox and IE as well as Chrome - Chrome being my default browser. I have also tried all of the points that Java suggests ("

How do you get home in the dark Minecraft?
I press F3, and remember the coordinates wich is in the upper left corner. Then i just follow them home.
You can also put a lot of torches on a tall 1x1 and then you can see it from far away.
It's a "mining" type game where you can dig tunnels or dig for blocks of what ever you want to build. The Minecraft world is a "square" world where there are no round edges so everything is in blocks. Monsters (mobs), trees, flowers, charactors, everything is square or block shaped.
You can knock down trees for lumber, dig earth to build an earth house, or if you find a tunnel or dig down far enough to find an underground mine you can find all kinds of different blocks. Diamonds, iron, coal, all kinds of different minerals, granite, etc. Each one can make different or sturdier weapons or tools to last longer.
It's an "open" world that you can travel as far as you want.
