It depend on what trimester you are in. If it is the first trimester, your body will feel okay in about a week. If you have a miscarriage in the second trimester or later, you are likely to experience abdominal pain and really heavy bleeding. The body may take up to a month to heal.

It is possible you are pregnant. .When I was pregnant w/ my first son I got my period like 2 weeks earlier than normal, and it was only for 3 days...a couple days later I took a test and I was preggo.. I would doubt that it is a miscarriage b/c you would have a lot of pain and A LOT more bleeding, it wouldn't only be for 2 days..I believe you would bleed for 5+ days if it was a miscarriage.

I'm sorry to hear of your problem. It is possible to still have those problems and still be pregnant. But also... even if you miscarry the test can still be positive for a little while. I'm not sure of the exact time limit... but your body will still carry hormone lvls high enough to read a positive result. If you still have problems I would keep checking up on it and not take a no for an answer. Good luck, I wish you the best.

f it was after 24 weeks it would be a stillborn baby so the mother would have to be induced into labour and give birth to it. If it died before it was 24 weeks then it would be classed as a misscarraige but the mother may have to still give birth.x

Well first of all are you pregnant? I was pregnant and started bleeding around 6 weeks. I went to the ER and was told I had a complete miscarriage, meaning nothing showed up in my uterus eventhough my blood levels did show I was pregnant. I went home and the next morning a big black blob/sack (sorry TMI) came out and I figured it was actually a placenta or something. During my follow up appt at my obgyn she told me I wasnt far along enough for a placenta to be formed as big as I described. She said it was the uterine lining coming out after my body had no pregnancy to support. It turned out I had an ectopic pregnancy and needed a type of chemo to prevent tubal rupture. I would go to the Dr to get checked because if you dont and you do have an ectopic pregnancy you could ruin your chances of ever getting pregnant again or worst case your tube could rupter and you could go into shock and die. It could just mean that it is time for her to switch birth control brands. Each type of birth control contains different amounts of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. Sometimes a girl develops what could almost be called an immunity to a type of pill. That is to say, her body is changing as she grows, and she may need a different brand with different amounts of hormones in order to keep the bleeding and cramps minimal.

Yes, it's very possible. Although, some amount of pain (even a little) is common but doesn't always happen...and not everyone bleeds. (all this known to be fact by the way). Don't worry.

Hi I was recently pregnant. i was 9 weeks and i started spotting and cramping i went to the hospital and the baby cam out in the toilet. i grabbed at it and it looked like a huge blood clot with a 3 inch white bean in the middle with egg yolk around it. that's my opinion of what i saw

Well I had a natural miscarriage ( had a gestational sac but no baby) but usually your soppose to check up with your doctor and they willl either do a ultrasound or test your hcg levels or both. However you can take a pregnancy test to see if you test positve because its basically the same thing the doctor does or you can tell by your bleeding stopping. I'm no doctor I'm just going by experience. Like I said I had a miscarriage natural with no check up because I'm sure everything is out and my first period was awful lots of pain and blood clots. Still I recommend to see a doctor.

Labor really isn't as bad as it sounds, and there is no way to give yourself a miscarriage without injuring yourself badly as well. Although, after reading this question, I kind of feel like you would deserve it. Anyways, the safest way to get rid of the unborn fetus is to get an abortion at a clinic. Just for your information, however, an abortion hurts just as bad as labor OR trying to give yourself a miscarriage. :) Enjoy!

It is possible, but the bleeding could also have been from implantation bleeding. A pregnancy test will show positive for a while after a miscarriage because your body has not rid itself of the HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels yet. The further along you were, the longer a pregnancy test will show positive. I would still be on the lookout for any symptoms of pregnancy, continue taking your prenatal vitamins (or at least folic acid), refrain from alcohol and tobacco and caffeine then in a couple weeks take another test and see. Or you can go to the doctor to either confirm pregnancy or miscarriage.

If the fetus has begun to develop enouhg, then a procedure, similar to a c-section or abortion, will have to be done by a doctor to remove the dead cells without harming the mother.

I think it is all in the mind. After i had both my children i still had the feeling of a baby moving around. I think your body and mind both get used to the feeling.
