Being intellectually humble is a good thing. If you are humble, people will respect and recognize you for it! Of course, being intellectually humble does not mean you act as if your knowledge is not important - which would not be helpful - but simply means that you don't parade around your intelligence as something that makes you better than others. SO BE HUMBLE YOU! 8-)

The expression comes from Robert Frost's poem Mending Wall. However, it is not Frost, but rather a neighbor, who spouts this cliche. Frost is rather doubtful that it is true. It all depends on whether one is walling in or walling out, and he concludes that there is something that does not like a wall, i.e., essentially a barrier between people.

Personal values are things that you believe in, and they are important to you. for example, if you are a veryy family orientated person then one of personal values is family. If you believe in loyalty and being a good friend, then they are your personal values.

आपसे सविनय-निवेदन यह है कि मेरे पिताजी का स्थानांतरण दिल्ली से पूना में हो गया है। मेरे पिताजी को पूना में कंपनी द्वारा रहने के लिए फ्लैट दिया गया है। मेरे पिताजी को कंपनी द्वारा वहाँ स्थाई रूप से कार्य करने के लिए भेजा गया है। इसलिए हम सपरिवार पूना जा रहे हैं।

आरंभ में पिताजी द्वारा प्रयास किए गए की मैं यहाँ रहकर अपनी पढ़ाई करूं परन्तु यह संभव नहीं हो पाया। अत: पिताजी ने मेरी पढ़ाई की व्यवस्था पूना के एक विद्यालय में करवा दी है। अगले महीने से हमारा पूरा परिवार पूना चला जाएगा। परन्तु पूने के विद्यालय में मुझसे टी.सी मांगा गया है।

टी.सी. के बिना मेरा उस विद्यालय में दाखिला नहीं हो पाएगा। आपसे अनुरोध है की मेरा टी.सी. जल्दी बनवाकर दे दिया जाए, जिससे मेरा दाखिला हो सके। आपकी अति कृपा होगी।
