How do you replace cabin filter 2004 Mitsubishi outlander?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The cabin filter is located behind the gloves compartment. You have to empty it first and fully open it all the way down until you see a plastic cover with two screws.

Remove the screws and pull the cover and filter cartridge out.

Put in the new one, tight the two screws, raise the compartment back.

It's really simple and quick! It takes longer to remove and put back the stuff into the glove compartment than replacing the filter !!! :))
