I think it is definitely the Mount Royal. When you get on top you can see all of Montreal, and it's a really beautiful place to be, there is a lot of nature. If you come on a Sunday during the summer, there is the drum circle at the parc Jeanne-Mance, right at the foot of the Mount Royal. There is a lot of people goind there to enjoy the atmosphere, drumming and dancing, and there is also some kind of crafts market going on.
If you like amusement parks i would suggest La Ronde, but there are so many better parks that exist in other cities.
