Do mosques contain relics of the founder?

Answer 1

It is not clear what is meant by founder whether the founder of the mosque or the founder of Islam.

As for the founder of the mosque, it is forbidden to keep any relics inside the mosque for the mosque founder.

As for the founder of Islam, it is known that Islam is God religion conveyed to human kind through God prophets since start of human kind. Islam, in its universal sense as submission to God the one and only one the Creator, is the mission and call of all God prophets and the main teachings of all God authentic holy books. As Judaism is the religion per God revelation of Torah to prophet Moses, Christianity is the religion per God revelation of the Bible to Prophet Jesus, the very name Islam is God religion per God revelation of Quran to prophet Muhammad. In this regards, no relics of neither God (Allah) nor of the prophet is contained inside the Mosque. Only you may find wall hangings or drawings of Quran verses, God names or prophet names, prophet sayings, praying quotes, clocks, calendars, or religious books. You never find figure drawings or statues.

Answer 2

There are some mosques that do contain reliquaries, usually containing hair or skin that supposedly belonged to Muhammad, but these are few and far between and usually only visited by local pilgrims as opposed to Mecca and Medina which have no such artifacts.

Why do many Muslims go to the mosque every night during Ramadan?

Every night during the month of Ramadan Muslims pray taraweeh. Some pray it in 8 rakaats and other pray in 10 that is leaving out the 3 shaafa and witr. In the taraweeh they read or like the Imam recites a juz every night and at the end says a dua. In the last 10 days of Ramadan, the Muslims pray along with taraweeh qeyam al-layl (tahajud). No, there is no evidence of this. Islam had not been founded when Jesus was alive, so he could not have been buried in a mosque, since there were no mosques yet. Christians believe Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb close to where he was crucified in Jerusalem. But according to the New Testament, his body only remained there for three days as he was resurrected, and ascended to God the Father in heaven.
