There are several extremely talented motocross and supercross riders. Jeremy McGrath is considered the king of supercross, and was a star in his time. There are many talented riders today including James Stewart, Justin Barcia, Davi millsaps, and Chad Reed.

But overall, Rickey Carmichael is regarded the greatest of all time (the G.O.A.T) as he won a unheard of 10 championships with 3 undefeated seasons. In essence, he is considered the best motocross rider.

In endurocross racing, David Knight is a strong rider that is extremely talented.

in FMX, many consider Travis Pastrana to be the greatest because of his style and ability to perfect tricks none others can such as the double backflip.

I've not seen any figures on Stewart's new contract for 09 but as of now it is still Ricky Carmichael for the 2006 season. Ricky is the highest paid rider in the sport with an estimated annual income of between $8 - 10 million US.

yes dirtbikes are better because dirtbikes hardly ever land on you like fourwheelers do and fourwheelers way to much to move around like you can on a dirtbike.

No one person invented the dirt bike. This would depend on what type of oil you will be using for your premix. The oil base stock is either petroleum, semi-synthetic or synthetic oil and is mixed with gas at a ratio ranging from 16:1 (petroleum) to as high as 100:1 (synthetic). I personally ride a 2001 Kawasaki KDX200 that I run Yamalube 2R at 36:1 with no problems. Although synthetics say you can mix them at 100:1 I would not, that seems way too lean to me. i use a 40:1 mix in my rm but i use a suzuki highgrade oil so naturally the better quality oil you use the leaner you can go but unless you like rebuilding top ends dont go leaner then 40:1. DONT USE CHEAP OIL . WITH A CHEAP CRAPPY BRAND YOU WILL HAVE TO RUN IT ON A RICHER MIX LIKE 32:1 BUT THIS WILL CAUSE THE SPARK PLUG TO FOWL VERY QUICKLY AND EVEN THOUGH THE MIX IS RICHER THAN A HIGH GRADE 40:1 MIX IT WONT BURN AND LUBRICATE NEARLY AS WELL AS THE HIGHRADE STUFF.

Yes motocross is more dangerous than bullring because in motocross you have less stability and in motocross your engine can over heat and catch on fire in bullring a bull will never go 120 mph or catch on fire and in motocross if you crash on the wrong side of a jump you can get crushed by 20 to 30 bikes that speed up as they hit the ground or you a bull can ram you and step on you but not as much as a dirtbike race and if you wheelie over it can break your back and if you endo the bike you can break your neck and back so therefore motocross is more dangerous.

I would stick to around 50:1 almost always, you can lean the oil out alittle and go 40:1, but the leaner you go the more chance you take on friction building up and then the motor will sieze. Almost everything I own that is two cycle (minus my old chainsaw) is 50:1 and the chainsaw that's 40:1, I run it at 50:1 and it runs fine and alot of power. I would check the spark plug after 3-4 hour of riding and see if it still is pretty clean and then go 40:1 if the spark plug is getting gunked up.

In the US at the AMA national level there are 18 supercross events and 12 outdoor motocross events plus 7 womens pro motocross events. On the amateur level it would run in the thousands, no way of knowing.

That can be a bit difficult. The easiest way is to ask the seller to show you an original receipt from the store. If that doesn't work you can take the serial number of the bike, contact the police(not on the emergency number!) and ask if it's been reported stolen. Don't expect too much from that though, not many people note the serial number of their bikes.

I have ran my 700xx against a 2008 raptor 700r SE both being stock My 700xx was about the same on level ground in accel. But starting on hills taking off the Raptor did pull me a little it also was a little more adgile(raptor). We were pretty even (level ground) until I hit fith gear then I pulled the 700r Its top end was at least 10 -15 mph slower. Dealer told me the 700xx would go 84mph stock.

They can be geared to run 100 mph but a stock 450 shoud be 90 to mid 90's.

a racing dirtbike. there are 3 main kinds of dirt bikes: trail bikes, pit bikes, and competition bikes. there is factors and differences between each other. a motocross bike would have an adjustable suspension, no electric or key start, usually all kick, they are more powerful and are built to race, faster, has a harder stiffer taller seat. disk brakes always.
