What would you do to be allowed to climb the trees?
I made this question... here's more info: READ THIS BEFORE YOU ANSWER
I am thirteen years old and like to climb trees. Make that LOVE to climb trees! All of the good trees to climb (plus an AWESOME hedge to climb in) are near the house of a kind man and woman. If they see me or my friends climbing any trees, they make us get down!!! The woman comes out and says the "My husband saw you climbing, it's too dangerous, get down, ect." stuff. My mom lets me climb (though I haven't told the couple that yet), so what do I do?! Its my main source of fun!
When climbing a mountain why do you need a compass?
Climbing your mountain, and reaching your target is just half the deal. The descent must be approached with equal caution, especially when you're on unfamiliar territory. Bear in mind that many accidents happen whilst descending and the terrain, or a sudden change in weather, may demand compass skills and a good large scale map. GPS systems cannot always be relied upon and are not generally accurate enough for the purposes of mountaineering.
Who can you talk to in order to begin training in gliding suit cliff jumping?
If you have never made a freefall parachute jump, start by getting some training at a local drop zone. In order to do base jumps with a wing suit it is recommended that you have advanced freefall skills. Without these skills you increase the risk of injury or death due to unstable deployment, contacted the wall of the cliff, or misjudging the distance to the ground.

Do they have to weigh you when you rock climb?
Nobody gets weighed to climb. Almost anyone who can pull their weight can climb. Basically, the ropes used are strong enough to hold your weight if you can hold your weight. Obviously if one is too heavy to lift themselves; they won't be doing much climbing. There is always bouldering, which almost anyone can do. Bouldering is low to the ground and doesn't require ropes, just a 'crash' pad to fall on.
How is rock climbing organised?
What?
It's not organized. you go out with a buddy and climb.
If you're referring to competitions, they are usually sponsored by climbing gyms and equipment manufacturers.
If your referring to some governing body, there are organizations that classify the safety ratings of equipment, and introduce standardization, some even organize local efforts to clean up or improve established climbing areas, but... that's about it.

Why are crevasses a danger in Antarctica?
A crevasse, regardless of where it's located is a deep canyon of ice. Unless you fall onto a ledge, you'll fall to the deepest "V" in the crevasse.
Over time -- and not a very long time, you'll freeze to death because of being wedged between two ice forms. You are immobile and probably injured. If you land on a ledge and cannot climb out or are not rescued quickly, you'll also freeze to death.
In Antarctica, there is the added danger of not being rescued, because there are no stand-by search and rescue teams, no equipment on stand-by to retrieve a human from a crevasse.
Also in Antarctica, known crevasses are marked with black flags mounted on bamboo poles, to mark areas where humans should not tread.
