How is the twins connect the umbilical cord to the mother?
The umbilical cord is the fetus' "lifeline" to the mother and supplies the fetus with nutrients so the baby can thrive. The cord typically begins to form as soon as the ferilized ovum attaches to the uterine wall.
What are some ways to increase chances of having twins?
Oh yes it does! I never dreamt I would become pregnant with twins. There are no twins in my side of the family. None that I know of. However, at my baby shower, I found out from my boyfriend's family that there were at least 4 sets of twins in his family; his grandmother had twins, his grand aunt had 2 sets of twins and his cousin had twins.
It's amazing how science doesn't know everything because my high school friend had fraternal twins and when she found out I was having identical twins she told me that that wasn't hereditary, but obviously it is after learning my boyfriend's family's history.
Are there any male and female conjoined twins?
No. The popular gen is it is best that people of this sort remain ( single) or dual-controlled and avoid any Center-Aisle Romantic entanglement. The original Chang and Eng ( l9Th century siamese twins) were married to one woman, normal, and produced normal offspring. Neither the Hilton sisters nor the Boston-area sisters as far as I know ever got married. There may be legal issues here, also. A different type of freak, the Amazon Sandra Allen, was never married. Most people of this type tend to die young, in the case of the overly tall woman, the circulatory system is over-taxed.
Twin births how much as a percentage?
I looked it up and what I found was this:
"32.2 per 1,000"
I don't know what that means, but maybe you do.
Can you have twins if you are not a twin?
yes, absolutely! Non-identical twins have a tendancy to be hereditary on your mother's side of the family. So for a female if your mother or mother's mother had non-identical twins there is a highler likelihood you might. Still, many twins don't have twins, and many people who aren't a twin do have twin. The increase in IVF has increase the number of multiple births in recent decades.
Well Im an identical twin and I think we fight because we want to be an individual but at the end of the day my twin is the one person who I could say the meanest things to and she would.never hate me for it
Do conjoined twins have the same fingerprint?
No, everyone has unique fingerprints, even identical twins (conjoined or not).
Actually, It's Fraternal and not faternal. They even have spell-check on this site to make sure you don't make a mistake and you made a mistake correcting the former idiot!............Idiot!!!!!!!!!
Is it possible to have twins by two different fathers?
Yes, but only in cases in which they're fraternal, as identical twins form from a single egg/sperm combination and thus cannot have different fathers. In rare instances, when two or more of a woman's eggs are fertilized by different men within the same ovulation period it's called heteropaternal superfecundation.
Fraternal (non-identical) multiples caused by the mother releasing (or being implanted with) two or more eggs… the father has no influence in the connection fraternal multiples! Identical multiples are just a miracle of nature when the egg splits two or more times, it is not generally considered a genetic trait. You chance would only increase if you were one of a naturally conceived triplet (with at least one fraternal).
Are twins more likely to have twins for their own child?
I have an identical twin. For me it is no more likely that I will have twins than anyone else because identical twins are just flukes. If you are a non- identical twin and that is because your mother had two eggs, then you may have this too, and it is more likely you will have twins.
If your first cousin once removed had twins what are your odds of having twins?
Well, the gene definitely runs in the family.
How many ova's would triplets have?
It depends. With identical triplets there was only one ovum. If the set has two identical, one fraternal then there were two ova, and if all three are fraternal then there were three eggs in total.
Personally I'm one of a set of two-egg triplets. I am the fraternal one of the set, although I still look very much like my sisters.
What is 11 kids born at once called?
There isn't a term for this since it can't happen. A woman couldn't carry that many babies and have all of them live.
Can you inherit fraternal twins on your dad side?
twins skip a generation, but according to statistics, either female or male may produce them
Three pairs of twins. Now if you mean six babies all born at the same time from one mother? sextuplets.
What do you call 11 babies born at one time?
im not sure but a pattern shows dat you take the name of the shape with that many sides, cut of the end and put tuplets on the end. i think?!?!?! x x x
Who was born first of the twins?
Well it depends who pops out first could be distance of minutes seconds or even hours. Sometimes days of labor but who ever it born first is they first one and is therefore the oldest,
What is the largest number of babies that have been born at once?
Eight (octuplets) babies is the largest number ever successfully carried to full term with all children surviving.
I am sure there is am mathematical equation out there somewhere on percentages but that I don't know. I know twins run in our family. My mom had twins her 2nd pregnancy. Her 1st was me and I was a loner, then my twin sisters, then 2more single births. My little brother and my baby sister. So for my mom, 4 pregnancies, only 1 twin. Now before you go getting all excited (unless up want more twins), her sister got pregnant 3 times & had twins all 3 times! My me mom says my aunt has always been an over achiever & a show off though LOL!
