Most muscle relaxers are non narcotic and aren't tested for. Valium is the only medication that I can think of that is sometimes used as a muscle relaxer that may show up on a test (it is a benzodiazapine). It usually stays in the system for 5-7 days.

Can you take hydrocodone and cyclobenzaprine together?

Yes, they are commonly prescribed together. However, both of these medications will cause a lot of drowsiness. Only take them as prescribed, and do not do anything that would require your attention (i.e. drive, operate machinery, go to work..) or drink alcohol. The best place to be when having either of these is at home.

Soma is not a controlled substance by definition; however, there are still some drug tests that are more detailed that can detect soma. Soma actually after metabolized does contain an older drug commonly called miltown that is considered an opiate so to be safe I would not take it unless you have a prescription. It is also very addictive and the withdrawal's can be horrendous.

How much soma can you take in a day?

I am not a doctor, but while in college I had really bad mid/upper back pain, this was in the mid 90's. The campus doc prescribed me 2 soma 4 times per day (350 mg soma, NOT the one with Tylenol or "compound) plus 1 flexeril about 1-2 hours before bed. The first dose I took right before a staff meeting (I wrote for the college paper) and talk about a weird buzz/feeling. All I could do was sit there and could barely talk. My tongue wouldn't work so well. A few others asked if I was ok, and said yes, but they must of thought I was taking some illegal drug. The next time I took just one, and the third two again, but ended up puking. Hope this helps

Is soma addictive?

Indeed it is. Soma has the potential to produce physical dependence with prolonged use. Withdrawal of the drug after extensive use may require hospitalization in medically-compromised patients.

For example: In November 2007, Carisoprodol (Soma) was taken off the market in Sweden due to problems with dependence and side effects.

Soma abuse has resulted in a number of states scheduling Soma as a controlled substance. States that have taken this action are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, and West Virginia. Soma is not scheduled at the federal level. However, reports of Soma abuse are being monitored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Soma could be listed under the Controlled Substances Act if warranted.

Can vistaril and zanaflex be taken together?

I have taken both by themselves, and I have also mixed large quantity's of the two on several occasions. From my experience there is no real health dangers, depending on ones body and how they affect you individually. They just seem to mend together and eventually the zanaflex will over takes the xanax and drowsiness sets in. I would not advise mixing them at the beginning of a day or if you to plan to operate any machinery or drive a motorized vehicle. Alcohol will extremely intensify effects so take caution.

Is hydrocodone a muscle relaxer?

No.

Cyclobenzaprine is a skeletal muscle relaxant chemically related to tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) such as amitriptyline and imipramine.

Under Federal law (American) a narcotic only refers to opioids (Heroin, morphine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, methadone) and cocaine.

Under Canadian law a narcotic only refers to drugs classified as schedule I or schedule II controlled substances (opioids, cocaine, hallucinogens, ketamine, cannabinoids).

Medically speaking only opioids are considered narcotics.

Thus cyclobenzaprine is not a narcotic by legal and medical definitions. Cyclobenzaprine is also not a controlled substance in any respect and it it not an addictive drug nor is it a recreational drug

Cyclobenzaprine is indicated as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions

How long after taking Valium do you have to wait to drive?

It is always recommended that until you have been taking this type of drug for several weeks, (on a daily basis) that you DO NOT DRIVE. Benzo's have what is called a long "half life". Half life is how much of the active ingredient is in your CNS after you take the very first dose. Drug screens have detected a single dose of a benzo Valium a MONTH after it was ingested. This type of drug is not like alcohol, where it get 'out of your system an ounce per hour. Take this advice: Wait until you are at your home or hotel until you take the prescribed dose.

Is 30mg flexeril to much?

I took that amount one Saturday morning. I took it, then took a shower. When I came out, I was extremely tried. I went onto my bed and fell asleep. I woke up that night at 6PM and didn't remember anything I'd done for the past 2 days.

I don't know how you'll feel if you stay awake for it. Probably just tired. But surprisingly enough, I just took that amount 5 minutes ago. So I'll update this with my results.
