A penalty pass is different from a free pass in netball because:

A free pass is awarded to the opposing team because the infringement made by the other team only affected one player (stepping, replay, breaking) BUT

A penalty pass is awarded to the opposing team because the infringement made by the other team affected two or more players (contact, obstruction)

When you score in Netball, the players go back to their starting positions - the centre player of the team that just scored the goal would stand aside, and the opposing team centre player would take the ball and stand in the circle in the centre 3rd. All other players would resume their starting positions - i.e. GK and GS of both teams on their side of the court, in the semicircle, WA and WD of both teams standing on the line that divides the centre 3rd from the other two 3rds, and GA and GD of both teams standing at their positions, which is pretty much the same as WA and WD. Also practicing skills will improve your netball for example if you never learned where to stand at the start of a netball match you would never know where to stand!

I no practicing skills is very boring but you have to do it to play matches. other wise you would never win a match as well.

A netball game lasts for about an hour. There are four quarters and 15 minutes in each quarter. There is a 3 minute rest in between each quarter too.
